Hi, just noticed a few days ago that the smart process "smartremote32.exe" would not close or shut down despite me closing it. The thing is I didn't shut down my comp for a week and noticed it was running slower than usual. Then when I checked the processes, I noticed about 7 smartremote32.exe running at the same time, but I have non open or running. Was just wondering if this is just me or we have to manually end the process each time after opening it.

Are you using 7.2? Try SMART 8.0.

I see, yes, I am using smart 7.2. Still using the older one, will update and give it a go. Thanks.

But is anyone else experiencing this with smart 7.2?

It's a known bug in v7.2, fixed (for the most part) in v8.0+

Ok, thank you so much, have been out of the loop in a while, just started to get active again, and with the new news of randoms being removed, uncertainty is definitely topping most of our minds
