http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmMtcjXhSDQI think it would be pretty useful to watch and see what they have to say about bots, atleast thats what the title says atm.

I was looking for this video last week, but they were only doing the live stream about other junk. Thanks for reminding me because I was looking forward to watching this. it might give some useful information as far as banning and detection methods.
I will watch it now while running a script. Muhaha!

I watched one minute, they said something about going for the profesional bot users instead of the casual ones.

So far they have mentioned the fact that their detection software is made to detect any activity that is not human. Although they said they are ESPECIALLY looking for professional botters and gold farmers, casual botters are targeted just as well.
It seems like they are still being very vague, I doubt they will go into any specifics as far exactly how this new detection software will work. The only way to find out is to wait for the new update. Somehow I do not think simba will be exempt.

a well written bot will always act like a human. When I write myself bots, I write them for how I play, and not for speed. we just need to have more bots with "Human" error in them…

This actually means it's all about how good your script is.

From what i got out of the stream, it appears the software they are going to use will watch your movements very closely and if you are making repetitive moments of any kind it will flag you as a bot and ban you….. but it will know "somehow" that you are using software. They did say even color bots will be affected.
I better get my first script out before this or no one will use it lol.

I agree with this and I will certainly be more choosy about which scripts I tend to use. I believe that with enough human-like randomization simba will still be up and running. But some scripts, not so much.

Mod Mark also states in the video that the new detection system will work especially well with the "little color pickers". Also, I lol'd when he called out Paris & Bert.
