When I run anything with SMART enabled such as:

program TestSmart;

{$define SMART}
{$i srl/srl.simba}

Begin

End.
        

I get this in the "smartparams" script

[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/misc/SmartParams.Simba(274:134): Invalid number of parameters at line 273


I've searched the forums but couldn't find anything that seemed to address this apart from something about deleting "-1" somewhere but I can't see where.

Help appreciated

open the file

C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/misc/SmartParams.Simba

and press control+f, to open the find feature.

search for this bit of code: SmartSpawnClient(ReplaceWrap(PluginPath

then make that whole line, look like this:

Result:= SmartSpawnClient(ReplaceWrap(PluginPath, '\', '/', [rfReplaceAll]), Params[0], ',' + Params[1], 765, 553, 's', '', '');

Reinstalled everything and now my original error is fixed but I am now getting the "Fatal Error: Pairing Clients; Terminating Script" in the debug box. I was getting this before and have already tried reinstalling JDK from JDK7 to JDK6 34

E: Worked because it reverted the SMART version back now I do need to change the smartspawnclient arguments because I updated to 8.0. Finally got SMART to work :) Thanks jingle, rep

That's the worst advice ever. If you did that SMART wouldn't load at all. Contrary to your opinion, most lines in a program are actually there for a reason.
