Hey SRL! My name's Chris and I reside in Australia. I have decided to migrate here as this community is not all about producing bots for leechers and the like to use. I am extremely interested in web developing and hosting, I hope to improve whilst I'm here!

At the moment, the only programming language I am semi-familiar with is HTML. I wish to change that while I'm here! :spot:

During my stay, I wish to succeed in the following:

  • Help out amongst the forums.
  • Become 'respected' so too speak.
  • Attempt to learn some coding.
  • But overall, have an enjoyable time.

You can add my on Skype: chaoticstormz

So yeah, thanks guys and I'll see you around!

-Chris.

Hello Chris!, welcome to the SRL family. If you have ANY questions feel free to ask away. PM me or many other users. Most of us are quick to respond.
The best way to get a good reputation is no profanity
Help everyone out that you can
And contribute as many scripts as possible.
Once you work your way up the ladder
you will gain rank amongst the members. you might have already noticed the icons next to some members names.
you'll start out as a registered user and then junior member
then when your ready you apply for srl membership.
Srl members are gained access to stuff regular members dont get to see.
And are not allowed to discuss them with non srl members.
Hope that gives you a kick start. but it is recommended that you read the rules. basically read through everything you can. best of luck,
kottonmouth

Thank you! I've already familiarised myself with the rules, read through the FAQ and read some documentation amongst the forum.

Great attitude, I like it. Welcome to our humble community friend. We're always welcome to new comers in this state of mind.

I believe we have a section dedicated to web development & programming, ah here it is:
http://villavu.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=81

I know a handful of people from here that are quite talented in this field, I believe you'll get along just fine with them indeed.

So welcome to SRL mate! :)

Welcome to SRL, hope you enjoy your stay here :)

I would recommend watching YoHoJo's tutorials on scripting to get started and then moving onto the text guides once you have a solid base.

If you manage to get pretty good before Saturday perhaps enter the SRL scripting competition and win a free 50m :D but if not don't worry there will be more in the future!

I'll take a look at the tutorials very soon! I won't be participating in anything until I'm satisfied my scripting is good enough for myself, and others.

Thank you! ;)

Damn it, now I really wanna go to Australia… How often do you see a Kangaroo in the wild?
all we got around here are pretty much just deer.

Depends where you are. City - Scarcely. Rural - Wallabies & kangaroos can be found normally if you walk around abit in bush.

I seen a deer in my city bout a month ago which is not normal to see.although we see them all the time outside of cities and towns….. lol it was going crazy running around everywhere. I think it would be cool to see a kangaroo though besides in a zoo. That and Australia's landscapes are more intriguing. All we got around here is corn and bean fields dats it.
