Does jagex not use .jagex_cache folder anymore?

I can't seem to find the .jagex_cache_32/jagexlauncher folder (Specifically the openGl.dll file). I need the jagexlauncher folder for testing out Brandon's openGL hooks. Did they change where it is stored, or do they not use it now? I have tried deleting the jagex cache folder in C:/%userprofile%/jagexcache, and reloading runescape, but to no avail I cannot find the jagexlauncher folder.

No .jagex_cache_32 in:

%HOMEDRIVE%\.jagex_cache_32
%WINDIR%\.jagex_cache_32
%USERPROFILE%\jagexcache (Exists but no jagexlauncher folder.)
%USERPROFILE%\.jagex_cache_32

I have "jagexcache" in the root of whatever directory I put simba in

kinda crappy worded

basically if I have simba in D:\something\something\something\anywhere\simba

jagexcache is in D:\jagexcache

I have looked there, deleted the whole folder, reloaded runescape, and there still isn't a jagexlauncher folder inside jagexcache. The only folder inside jagexlauncher is LIVE.

openGL isn't from jagex folder O_O I've never seen them give that file

and yea I just have the live one too

According to Brandon's GLhook that is where opengl.dll is supposed to go. Regardless there is still no jagexlauncher folder anywhere on my pc. I don't know if its because its almost 3 am or if something else is going on.

Sorry I am no expert on pc gaming, nor opengl ect. No where that I have seen has ever mentioned that you need to download the client -.-

It used to be distributed with the client but they removed it and started using their wrapper just for extended/arb functions. Dunno why :S

Damn, well last week or two has been my come back since like a year ago and opengl was like nomans land then
does it not come default with some operating systems so they include it? or used to..
they probably saw us doin opengl bots so they stopped giving it out xD

Yeah you need the official client for testing.


And I am on 64bit so even if I already had it I can't use your GLHook anyways.

Edit: Scratch that. Got it to work. Looks very useful from what I have seen so far. Can't wait till your release.
