The Giving of Cups

 • The History
This Sub-section was created 2 years ago Tomorrow. This section is about to hit it's two year anniversary of being in existence and it's sole purpose was to give you the members the power to recommend Lower ranks for all the various things you think they deserve. So far in this section we have seen recommendations for everything from SRL Tester all the way to auto-member. Sadly even with this power brought down to your level. We haven't even reached a full page in this section. Most cups have been given because of others recommendations.
• The Purpose and the Problem.
In a recent thread it has been pointed out that cups aren't given out as much. Here is the reason why. We the staff can't always see everything about everyone. We rely on you the members to point out things like those that you think we should know about. This section was created for that reason. So that you the members can recognize the Junior- members that deserve a cup and put it up to discussion here.
• Recommending Members for Cups.
If you feel that one of your fellow members deserves a cup then you can fill out this form. This will post a thread in the SSRL section for all SSRL and above to consider. Unfortunately, due to the way democracy works, not all of your recommendations will get a cup. Do NOT fill out the form if you want to recommend a cup to an SSRL member or above (see below, instead).
• Recommending SSRL Members for Cups.
If you feel that an SSRL member deserves a cup then you can PM a Staff member and ask them to make a thread about it. Not all of your recommendations will get a cup. Ultimately all decisions come down to the Staffs discretion.
The Bottom Line:

If you'd like to see more cups given out to the various ranks then please start recommending them to us. They will get discussed and most likely handed out upon the staffs decision on them.

Have we considered branching out into cups for different languages such as

html, css, php etc.

Although html and css should come under one basic trophy?

I have never been 100% sure how the cups are decided but now I know I will keep an eye out.

Yes, we considered that a long time ago and decided the cup system was not proper for it. You can add it into the info on your forum profile if you'd like, theres a spot for it.

I hope that one day they will be. :) HTML/CSS, along with several other programming languages.
