The SRL Staff wants you
to apply for Script Moderator!

The Script section will be undergoing some changes soon and The Staff is in need of more active Script Moderators! :)
This is a great opportunity to show the forum what you're worth.
We'll be looking for perhaps 5 (more) Script Moderators at most.

Please only apply if you seriously want to help out the SRL Forum. Your job as a Script Moderator will be to moderate script threads, test scripts for major issues and taking care of reported scripts :)

Post here if you want to help out! Remember to write why we should choose exactly YOU for this job!

Applying. You should choose me because I would most probably do a mostly okay job. Savvy? I really don't know what all you want me to put in this post. I would be more than happy to check out scripts and handle reported scripts while I idle on the forums, because I do that quite a bit.

May as well just give all of SSRL mod privs in the public script section, honestly.

Anyways, I too could help out with that where it's needed. Most of my 'coding time' is spent on other projects atm, but I still spend plenty of time on the forum. I also still got 4 or 5 accounts running on a steady rotation.

If I could be more active, I'd help.

If all SSRL were given those privileges, eventually no-one would end up doing it

In my defense, the other guy will do it ;)

I wouldn't apply for the position, but if given the power I would stop by. (Sorry for the mediocre response :P )

I agree 110%. I'm in the same position as NCDS; I've projects I'm personally working on (minus the 4 or 5 accounts :p) but I'm still very active on the forum and I could help with things like that no problem. Testing scripts… I've not run another person's script in a very, very long time, I don't see myself doing that.

Also, Zyt3x, what do you mean by moderate script threads? As in make thread changes if the original poster chooses to change something? Or keeping spam (ect) removed from each script thread? And "taking care of reported scripts" implies, I would assume, locking scripts or moving them to the outdated section?

This is my position too, I am not active enough to stay consistent with it but I do wonder through the public scripts to see what the people of SRL are producing. So I would help out occasionally.

@Flight you would essentially be a moderator but just for that section minus ModCP

Edit, Move, Deleted, Work on reported scripts. You can even move things out of that section to a section you don't mod. But once they are gone you can't move them back. Say a user reports the script they made saying they want it moved to members. You could do that with just rights to that section.

Basically everything you would need to do you could.

The reason I know is because I was the Moderator for the Tutorial Island section before getting full mod over a year ago now. ;)
