SCAR Encryption Talker

Anyways, here.

I made this last night when I was bored :)

Symbols stay unencrypted, and numbers stay unencrypted. Letters are the only things that get screwed with.

Bring both the encrypted and the decrypter up, run the encrypter first, then the decrypter.

Smartzkid told me in a PM that I should try and make it work on a network or something. I tried using OpenConnection, and while I was screwing around with a packet sniffer I downloaded, I got a port number that I figured was mine. I punched in 127.0.0.1 and the port number both into OpenConnection in SCAR, and it worked! Now if someone could tell me what I could do to get it to send a message to another instance of SCAR on a separate computer, that would be great! I've never really used this line of commands.

Would be cool if you could make a server running only on SCAR code, lawlz. SCAR is too vulnerable to me to use it for extensive internet projects, I mean one single quote missing = major exploit for strings.

Heh :p

That'd be cool.

I would really like to get it to work over a network. Then just form it up…

Jason, cool idea :p.

Maybe make a SCAR internet with scripter's sites or IM client. That sure would be cool but I dunno if this would infringe on security. I've found some severe security leaks in DIVI (file functions) that haven't been fixed from the previous version. If you can access peoples computers, exploiting vulnerabilities of SCAR can have serious effects. I don't mean to scare you, but I know that there are people out there with malicious intentions that know their skillz.

SCARternet :p

*gasp*

I love it!

That makes me want to learn how to do all this stuff right now!

*mumbles to self*

SCARternet… SCARternet..

Jason, there is a much simpler way to do this :D

Use ord and chr ;)

If you cant figure it out, let me know!

What a good job Jason! Those work nicely man.. :sasmokin:

You could make the codes a bit shorter though, with cases.. I attached the codes with cases instead of if..then, so you can see how much shorter. :D

lol much, much shorter. Still, using ord() and chr() is the best way to go. I have a 5 line encryption procedure i use with it :D

Yep, but SCAR itself doesn't have Ord? Is Ord 1 of SRL's functions? :p

Infantry001

2007-04-21 19:29:08

no, SCAR does have ord! yay!

Oooh, cases… Nice ;)

I do like what Inf showed me. I used that and tweaked it a tad to have a different outcome each time. Random(20) + Random(10) (h)

but you made sure the Decryption gets you the same thing, right?

Sure did ;)

I'm sorry, I'm a noob here.
But how do you execute a .SCAR file?
It asks me with what kind of program I should open it with

Threads only been dead a few years ;)

Maybe not the best place to ask, try the help section, i personally have no idea how to open it if you cant use simba,

Try not to gravedig ;)

try changing .scar to .simba

Might not work, but they are pretty similar so it's worth a try.

*Whistles* 5 and a half year gravedig! Impressive! Try not to do it again.
