When I changed my screen resolution while having smart and changed it back, the smart window became maximized (something that you can't do with the maximized button, since it's disabled)
Will that change anything? In terms of script functionability or detectability?

If the top left corner of the RS window is still at the top left corner of the window, there won't be a problem.

Now in my SMART window, I have a toolbar at the top "Home, Support, Forums, Clans" that prevents me from seeing the bottom of my rs window when I'm in fixed mode (since the actual rs window is pushed down and the SMART window is a fixed size). The scripts don't run anymore, so what should I do?

Ur SMART is outdated. Tools>Update, SRL>Check for Update.

Sounds like you haven't been around recently. You will need to update Simba and then SRL in order to get Simba 0.99+ and SMART 7.2+, and the latest distribution of the SRL include.
