Sending money anonymously?

Is it possible to send money to someones paypal or something anonymously or at least with an alias?
I have a legit paypal account with my real name and all that… But if I wanna buy RSGP or donate to villavu.com I don't really want anyone to have my real name.
So I was wondering, is there really a way?
My prefered method is using my credit card through paypal, as I hate the long wait to send money from my bank to my paypal account.

Cheers for any answers.

Not really, at least not on Paypal. And to tell you the truth, no one really cares what your name is, unless you scam them.

You can't do much with a name, there are a lot of people who have the same name as you. :)

Eh, you're probably right… But I have a bit of a… Disability where I think everyone tries to get my name, and if it was gotten, my identity would be stolen.

Are there any other reliable ways?
I've heard of moneypak or something like that, but I can't buy those cards over here.

I have used a few money transfer methods over the years for various lucrative things…
Some of the methods are less sketchy than others. The best thing I could sugges is a 'Greendot' money card or something of the like you can get at a local gas station. You put money on the card and then you can use it as cash. Although, I can't guarantee this is "scam-proof".

Only thing I can think about is bitcoin. I've never tried it but I know it works.

Yeah, that was the moneypak.com thing I mentioned, it seems awesome, but I can't get those in my country unfortunately.

Yeah, I used to actually use bitcoins for a while… Well, I'd do surveys and get paid in bitcoins, never spent or bought any.
Do many people here sell RSGP for bitcoins though?

I had to look up silkroad to see what it was, never heard of it before. But it seems like you definetly know what I mean by "lucrative" ;)

IIRC Paypal only displays your first name if you donate to something but if you make a payment it will show your full name

I was just on the phone to paypal, and the dude said that my name will always be shown. Damn it.
Does anyone perhaps know if you can buy a digital version of a temporary credit card, like the ones you can get at the post office?

Buy a prepaid visa if you live in the US. There's a huge flat fee(around 5 bucks iirc) but you can just put 100 dollars in it and spend online.

Bitcoins as eska said is probably the most anonymous way. Unfortunately, not many mainstream sites accept bitcoins. You could try things like WallieCard/PaySafe, but then again, not many websites accept things like that.

We can get those where I'm from, I just have to wait until Monday.
I was so desperate because I was out of money and had to wait TWO WHOLE DAYS! First world problems.

That's what I'll do next time, for sure.
I appreciate it.

Yeah, bitcoins are anonymous as you can get.
I think that once I start getting some bots together to do some good work, I might even sell RSGP for bitcoins.

Umm… It doesn't work that way? People can't just steal your identify because they have your name. You are just being very paranoid.

you can make 'fake' paypal account using different computer and ip, put name whatever you want, then transfer some money from your main account to 'fake' account, use 'fake account to pay anonymously,

paypal tracks computer signatures and ips so be careful to keep accounts separate
you will be losing % of your funds on paypal fees, so adding funds by prepaid visa might be better

I know they need a little more than that… Like an address, current or outdated… But I'm medicated for a (very apparent) disability. Medication doesn't work completely. I need to be certain, and I need to be incredibly careful.
I compare similar like:
Someone carries a single egg from one to the next.
I am wrapping the egg in bubble-wrap, checking who is in the other room… Basically.

That's a good idea… I'll buy a card tomorrow hopefully and do it that way.
If they did perchance find out I was using two separate accounts… What would be the result? Suspension of both accounts, or legal attention?

Does any other fellow Aussie use the Auspost prepaid Visa load and go cards?
I bought one today, but there's already money missing already (Should only be $2 to confirm the card).
I hope someone has some info.

I know on Paypal you can limit how much info you give your reciever. But you could temp, change your name (not sure if you can actually do that)

Ah yeah, that's a good idea, I should have done that…
Damn, too lat for me now though, I already spent $29 on a Visa debit card.
But thanks for the info.
