Hey guys, I found a game awhile ago, and then became part of the dev team for it, and the program used to run it recently enabled you to just run a .exe, and not have to download the whole program thing with it.


Let's make it a bit more clear.
Usually, you have to download the game software to run it, running this exe should do everything for you, then connect you to the game. This isn't the only game on the site tho. ;)

Virus Scan

It comes up as two false positives, because it has to redirect you to the game, and download it, can't get around that. :(

About the game

The game is a 2D zombie survival game. It was programmed first by a guy named Kumorii, then I hopped on the bandwagon about a week and a half ago. :)

Controls

F key shoots
E key cycles through primary weapons
Q key cycles through secondary weapons
G key throws/places secondary weapons
Space key is to talk to everyone.

How to get started

Download the file, the link is at the bottom of the post.
Feed.exe should pop up, and then a list of servers should appear. If one is being hosted at the time, you can click the join button to join.

(My server is the one hosted by Killermankiller. :) )

After joining a server, you'll get to the login/register screen. Put your desired username and password in the boxes, and click register if it's your first time on that server, or login if it's the second or more.

If people think it's a virus, I'll take it down, just posted here to get you to try it. ;)

What I liked about the game:

1. I like the simple 2D sprites
2. Multiplayer is always fun!
3. I love the amount of zombies

What I think could be improved:

1. Weapons don't seem to have the impact I would like
2. You see damage displayed on the screen (-20) this gives the game a bit off rpg character
3. I am not really fond of the byond engine.

Thats actually an awesome game! But like MasterBB said, the guns seem like pillows in terms of damage…

The guns damage level up as you rank up.

By the time you're max level, pretty much any gun is a autokill. ;)
Leveling is hard tho, so it'll take awhile. :)

As it is now, it takes quite a few shots(~1 clip) from the pistol to take down an enemy on rank 1. Would about three shots be tolerable for a rank 1 to kill a normal zombie?

Edit:

I removed the number damage(i.e. "-20") when enemies hit you for the next patch. It was left over from previous testing and it never got removed; my apologies. (:
