This is my first C program, was a homework at school. I used allegro.
I thought I would share it, its pretty fun to play. :)

And here is the java version. Its a little bit buggy.

It's fairly easy to edit your highscores on but it is an old favorite nonetheless.

Added sources. C Snake is written and commented in my language so it may be useless for you.
Also added java Snake, its source is in English.
