hey all!! I have been out of touch with internet for almost a month now and have returned to see most traces of rarebot gone? Im just curious as to what has happened. Website gone not just being ddosd, client not updated since i left. Did they run into legal issues??

Nop, just lazy admins. They had people commited enough to finish api, moderate forums, get a better host but they let all of that just slip through their fingers. What happends now knows nobody

Rarebot community has noticed the extinction of our admins and developers here at rarebot. due to recent unforeseen circumstances that involve our country where we live we were unable to access the internet for a few weeks at a time. it was frustrate for us as it was for you. we are back though and bringing back some new things coming. we are not letting this happen again as we have secured a stable internet connection and will notify the new incoming staff of anything like this ever happening again. we promise not to let this happen and hope to bring back a new and improved bot with a more polish client and api. sorry for this again. stay posted for update.

over the next 2-3 weeks we plan in no order to:
a. restore bot back to updated version
b. get vbulletin version of forum back up (so be prepare to sign up again)
c. get script system (repo-type) up.
d. update client with some nice features.

Anonymous was a really good member and started HexaBots or something which updated the api, not sure if he is still doing it though as he was planning on creating his own client too.

i like their community much better than powerbots….its lame that it just died

The powerbot community is like this :

1. Jagex updates the game,the powerbot moderators update the official thread saying the bot is outdated*
2. Million 1 post people start threads : o my god black screen,can't bot,i hate you

end.

I think you'll find that they wiped the forums to remove years of spam.
