I was just wondering how some people have CRAZY amounts of money, like in the billions … do they just bot like crazy or do they dice, gamble, pk, etc?

Merching, possibly dicing and Pking.

I got to 2b by being lucky at Nex shortly after it came out.

Torva plate and torva legs. From 100m to 2b in 2 months.

RWT, goldfarming (bots), scamming, phishing, merching, flipping, lucky boss trips, given to (by friends), staking, finding a glitch and getting away with keeping the profit, or maybe legit by doing drags/ganos for hundreds of hours on end (oh wait, the last one has kind of gone outa style..)

They usually do dicing with legit clans. What a friend does is log in for like 15 minutes a day and he can make up to 100M in those 15 minutes by dicing/flower. Unfortunately he loves doing drop party's at falador so anything he wins from gambling, he invites a bunch of noobs and drop's at falador party room.

A lot of these players have gathered their cash from being around since the beginning allowing them to exploit when new skills are released and raw materials increase

Hmmm what is dicing, I've been out of the loop of the game for a long time.

AFAIK, they removed dice from the game, so now it's flower games.

i staked up to 6b, then decided to go all in and got dosed by a huge youtube dude who i thought was legit. dont trust staking big, its safer to just vid flower games with legit clans, because then if they scam you have a chance with your proof and sometimes the owner will refund you.

when free trade came
i gambled like 40000 times lol
got cleaned many times
once i started with 50m turned into 440m in 15 mins in dragon dyce
anotehr time from 70m to 850m in only 6 mins at wad no need to wait for caller
but from the other side,,,i turned 500m into 0 =D hahaha
just dont scare from betting
and remmber ONLY go for legit fcs to avoid being scammed
my bank atm is only 600m

I have made enough money to max with legit moneymaking methods. I'm not rich by any means, but being near max is nice ;)

The glitch didn't help either.

Its mostly long term botting, gambling, merching and old player stuff (P hats, drops etc)

Gambling, glitches, completely no lifing pvm/selling floors/high money skilling and gold farms are how people make bils.

I just merch on opportunity's like when something new comes out.

The only real merch i did (got me about 20m profit) involved buying unfinished pots, and selling them 3-4 days later. (I think this was the week before the first bonus xp weekend)

The key to merching is.. having a lot of money to begin with lol. You make a lot more with the more money you have.

I tried that lol, with vials, bought 3M of them (Took a hell of a lot of time) waited till they finished buying at 1gp each, sold them all at 2gp each.

Then I stopped merching :)

Might do the whole vial filling though (30x your investment, but kinda slow)

I merched my way up to 1.5b from 200k starting in april of this year. (I quit for a while).

I've gambled (dice bags + IRC dicing) my way to over 14B. Sold it all, bought my first car (94 Camaro), and some additional luxuries (I'm 17). It's really a game of luck, and somewhat a little bit of knowledge about statistics and logic. IE; 2 and 12 are rolled the least common, 6-8 are the most common. If you're interested in dicing, I'd suggest Smokin Mils (www.smokinelite.com / #Smokin_Dice on SwiftIRC). Not only have I made 10b+, there's a few users who've made ~25b+ in one day, starting with as little was 100m.

My biggest successes, 500m->5.5b in 4 days, 20m->2.2b in 6 hours.

What is a crazy amount of money? I've had several billions at once but I don't consider that as a crazy amount..
