I Had an idea for a great a safe spot script for rangers at grotworms there are a few spots in the cave that you can stand and kill multiple grots but the trick is to stay in the safe spots when the grots are out of range and to run out grab drop and return to safe spot if anyone could let me know if this script would be possible it would be great if it was i am tired of working my ass of for little pay while goldfarmers bot there all day with there maxed acc for mils aday i want to join in on the money making

Could you post some images of the area pointing out the safe spot?

Then we could give an idea about how difficult it would be, I have personally never been there so couldn't tell you…

Grotworm its some new thing

The grotworm is a monster that attacks with both magic and melee. They have a fairly slow attack speed (around the same as Dharok's greataxe), but they can hit fairly accurately for their levels. The grotworms are weak to stabbing and slashing attacks thus making any stab or slash weapon effective against them. It was released with the Song from the Depths quest. They can be found on the middle level of the Grotworm Lair. Due to the amount of food they frequently drop, they can be killed continuously without any need to restock. They always attack with magic first then continue with melee. If you run outside of their melee range they will mage you. Although there is little currently known about grotworms, the name implies Grotto-worm, meaning cave-worm.

There's already a bot from Powerbot where people are farming on a next level…

No point heading down there unless you want to be dismayed by the abuse.

Well i just found out they nerfed the grots due to the amount of bots lol they changed all rune items to adamant and got rid of alot of the rare drops that made it worth while so its kinda pointless now :/

Ive never faced these 'grots' but iv'e heard they drop something related to a really good crossbow. In Fact yesterday was the first day I used a Black salamander as magic. lol

I had them as a slayer task, they drop non tradable bolts.

I'm glad Jagex made some of the drops Adamant. The injection/reflection/Powerbot goldfarming is absolutely awful right now…I hate seeing it.

yeah it was bad i would go to german server just to get kills it was that bad but its still gud xp if you got the prayer lvl and high range/str they drop prayer pots and lots of food i just safe spot to save money
