I think I'm at 90 right now in Computer math 9 (for the gifted ones.. :p ) However, I have one of the highest marks in my class. For those of you who don't know, the marking in Canada is tougher, even when we apply for Universities in the USA they up our marks my 10%, because they are more realistic to they're marking system then.

lol yah exactly what cheese said, but for me even more, i go to a private school so even though im in grade 10 im being graded at grade 11 level, it sucks! but im at 96% anyway in principles of math 10 :)

A - B. Anywhere in there.
I finished with a C+ this year, I think.
Math 10 has been by far the hardest year yet since it's all new stuff.
Plus my academics are all in French, when I am English.

A+ in algebra 1. im actually very smart and can pull off straight A's if i apply myself but eh its only my freshman year and i can easily coast by with b's and c's =]

I have an A+ in math analysis also known as pre-calculus. gpa is 4.0. I wish I could apply it more to scripting….If only I had gotten into scripting at a super young age :/

81 in gr. 10 Maths

100% for Algebra 1. But my teacher is an idiot and he is like "If you missed less than 5 give yourself 100%". He also never actually checks the math so half the people don't even do it. I would probably have a 95 to 97% without him. Somewhere around there.

B+ in Algebra 1 in 8th Grade. Definetly not the best I can do. The Honor system starts in 7th grade in our district (All A's and B's). So far,

7th - 1st - Honors, 2nd - Honors, 3rd - Honors, 4th - High Honors
8th - 1st - Honors, 2nd - Honors, 3rd - Honors, 4th - X

I can do better..I really want High Honors this quarter. I hope I get it. :S

thats why i get on the teachers good side and get pwnt at chess everyday… when i went to math this year i showed him i could do everything and then he asked me if i wanted to play chess… he pwns me.. honeslty this dude is like a GRAND MASTER or somthing… and thats all we do.. he gives the class homework and we play chess while they do it.. :D and i end up not having to do any i LOVE it ohh and i got a 98% alg. 2

In my country we don't got A's/B's and stuff but a scale from 1/10. I have a 8 average and I got a 10 for my last test :D

in finland we have grades: 4-10, 4 = failed, 10 = best, i got a 5. i suck dont i?

In finland the grades are 4-10.. So in 4-10 my average is around 9-10 or something.

but of course in the higher level math classes if you don't pay attention to detail you'll fail

7,9 out of 10, you need 5.5 to pass here. I just hate figures and stuff, when we have algebra I often get 9+
But I think scripting is more like Latin then like maths. More logic. I have 8.7/10 for Latin.

I've gotten 99% in the CSTs/CAT6/Stanford9 (Basically, the state tests(Don't ask me why they kept changing the name)) since 1st grade. Except for last year i think, i got 98%. Dunno what i got for this year though, since we only just took the tests a lil' while ago and it takes a while for the results to get back. As for math class itself, i've always gotten A's except for last year, where I missed like half of the school year and got C's in everything :duh:

My school has some sort of advanced math program, so that if you're smart enough they teach you a year ahead of math, so last year (7th grade) i had Algebra 1 while most people had PreAlgebra. But my teacher pretty much hated me because i got 100% in her tests even though i was never there, and the rest of the class got like 70% on tests. I had like 30% in homework and 15% in classwork :p Also, she gave us a test at the end of the year with stuff we had never learned, saying it would highly effect whether or not we went to Geometry for 8th grade, or took Algebra 1 again. It was out of 45, highest anyone got was 40. I got 39. She still felt the need to make sure i didn't go to geometry -_-..

Oh, and not only that, but she tried to send me back a year. My school had always gone Math (Yes, it was just called that) then PreAlgebra then Algebra1 for the regular students. They added in "Algebra Readiness" which would be after PreAlgebra and before Algebra 1. That's what she wanted me in. :fiery: But because my scores were so high, they put me in Algebra 1 anyway. I proceded to sleep during class and finish the homework during class, and all out ignore the lessons, and ace every test. My teacher even tried to help me get into geometry, because she knew i already learned the entire book and shouldn't have been in that class :p

But now that's over with, and I'll have to wait and see what happens for my math class next year (9th grade, so i'll be starting high school). I kinda strayed off topic, but yeah. I've always gotten top scores in math :p

well dont laugh :( my best mark this year was 96 in math :( i forget wat thing in math though, maybee patterning and algebra i forget :(

I took geometry this year, freshman year, and got an A. Wasn't big on my teacher though. She had a butterfly tatoo on her foot :p There were only like four freshman in my class too. . .all the rest were sophomores.

I prefer English or Biology over Math anyday though.

Well I didn't know that, I was kinda wondering how everyone was saying 99, 100,98, etc. My mark for this year was 94%.

98% i mistook csc x for 1/tan x =( so close 1 question of 100%

I just had to bump this: 97.6%

I've always had A's in math…except for this past year. It was my senior year, so I was slacking in every single subject lol. I still took the most advanced subjects available including AP Calculus (which wasn't really too hard). I ended up with a B in that though.

when i was younger, i got really good math marks, like A+ almost every year, then in grade 9, i went down to like a C, but that was because i got lazy and stuff. Last year i got around 88, but i wasn't trying at the start of it. This year, I'm aiming for a perfect score, 100%.

I am going to be a freshman in highschool this year taking Algebra 2 Trig :eek: , but I have always had a 4.0 average

I don't know… I think a lot of you guys are stretching your marks. I've gotten 90%+ on all my math tests, but I just don't do lots of the classroom work so I scruffed up an 85% at the end of the year.

I know everything they've taught, except I make stupid mistakes in assignments and tests.

My strengths aren't in academia, I'm a jock XD

Well, I am really good at Math and Literature…. I can't spell for my life, and I read quickly but I have a relativily bad grade in reading(84, compared to my others). The reading classes aren't actually reading… it is all open ended or write what you think. I don't do that.

Anyways in all the state tests I have been 95% + and in actual grade wise around 94-98. This is Algebra….

hehe 42 because i havent done any work… and i was usually *like a kite* for the first 2 months :(

I'm in middle school and I've gotten 99 percentile in the past few years on the Terra Nova's. And in school I usually get 95%+ (one year I had 100% the whole year since the teacher only graded tests :)). Right now I'm taking Geometry in 8th grade (took Algebra I in 6th grade then skipped 7th grade altogether :p)

98, but i skipped a grade of math, so i have an excuse (normally over 100)

Like 85 or about that.
It was over 95 a little while ago but I didn't do as well on the last test.

With the upcoming test, I'm expecting to loose white a few precious percentage points >_< It's going to be ugly.

I make 93's, but my sister usually makes 97s. I'm the oddball of the math group (think backwards three times O_o)

Backwards 3 times is still the same as one backwards…

my school doesn't specify between a/a-/a+… so i got an A average last year(junior year) in both AP Calc I (AB) and AP Calc II (BC)… haven't taken any math yet this year!

Wait till grade 11. 11 (U) screwed me up good. 23% at midterm, haven't been back since.

11(U) screwed me too. 62% after the first test…now its 74% last year 85%, year before 90%. next semester i got 12(u) functions and im only in gr 11

im in geometry. i dunno my average. in alg 2 i had a 96, in pre alg i had a 99%
alg 1 i got 97% and btw i did the whole book in 1 month :) spend about 6 hours a day doing alg 1 ha ha. yeah well, i had no choice in the matter :D.

and btw im in Grade 8 :D, my birthday is in october if any of you are wondering why im 14 and in 8th(not 9th) grade, no i didn't phail :), my birthday is just right after the cut off(nov 1)

This semester I might do a little worse though because I didn't realize there were questions on the back of the last quiz. Depressing.

I know I posted before but now I have a better idea of how I'm doing :p

This year (8th grade) I have about a 96% in Geometry (most boring math ever…) EDIT: Mid-term came in, got 95.5)

Last year I had about a 95% in Algebra I (least boring math ever!)

Other grades are an average of about 95.5%. It's weird how after I skipped a grade (skipped 7th this year), my grades got better (Used to get like 93% average) :confused:

Alrite these are the final grades for trimester 2!
Math=95.6 A ( im in intro to Algebra in 8th grade)
Language Arts=86.2 B
Social Studies=88.6 B+
Science=92.2 A-
