[SRL] [RS2] Varrock South PowerMiner v 8.00
by Ejjman1
————————————————————————————————————
This script is perfect for gaining lvls at low lvls through high lvls! It will mine the ores, and then drop them when they are needed to be dropped at very good human speeds. The PowerMiner will mine them until your certain amount is reached; it will then switch to a different user.
NOTICE: Script can be used by everyone of all lvls. Just make sure you edit the constants.
————————————————————————————————————
Features
————————————————————————————————————
* Mouse moves like a human to find the needed item.
* Fast miner. It will mine a full load in an average of around 2 minutes, 30 seconds.
* Great Anti-Random protection. Gambles new box, and switches if fails.
* Edited by many of our great programmers, including Sdcit.
* Perfect for getting your noob miner up to using Guildminers.
————————————————————————————————————
Instructions
————————————————————————————————————

* 1. USE RS with Low Detail, Very Bright.
* 2. Set your Screen to 32 bit TRUE color.
* 3. Set Playernames and Passwords in DeclarePlayers.
* 4. Position your chars at Varrock South mining spot, at the picture above.
* 5. Make sure the player has a pick…LOL
* 6. Color pick two colors of the ore you're mining.
* 7. Fill in the setup.
* 8. Press play! :cool:
————————————————————————————————————
Known Issues
————————————————————————————————————
*I decided to drop gas and not worry about it. If you hit it, then that is an unlucky draw. Sry for this, but I am gonna wait until someone actually gets a gas finder that is great.

I have the SRL Library working( I think I did it right),but a random event killed me. Any ideas?

it happens sometimes i guess the randoms need to be updated a little more and ideas would be to help update the randoms :D

I'm gonna look for ideas on other things that contain antirandom protection. I'll fix this up right away, and it will work like a charm.

Thanks, I know I'm just a leecher but after get 86 fishing legit this is a nice change of pace =P. Anyway I've been using it for an hour now and it's talked to 6 random events and aquired 160gp so I guess my events were very random. Anyway I'm going out now I hope it'll continue doing what it's doing.

No, sorry I was mistaken. After I died on yours I switched to a different miner. I could go get the name if you want it. I tried yours again and after 1 full load it stopped working.

Chuch, can you please write down that autominer you used? I have been using simple wishes one. It doesn't work that well for me. As I keep getting this error. I use SS12.txt version 1.8 the newest one.
[Runtime Error] : Out Of String Range in line 158 in script C:Program Files/SCAR 2.03includes/SSI2.txt
If anyone can tell me what to do so I stop getting that error after 5-10 minutes, I would greatly appreciate it or can someone please give me a link to a really good autominer.

Leader, I am currently doing many many things to fix this up. I have currently made a better progress report. I am now just working on making him drop the ore and do another load. It's more complicated than it looks.
WhiteShadow
2006-04-30 00:24:10
Nice to see, your updating, and that you used my progress report. :p
Maybe you should change
Writeln('+--Mined/Dropped Approximately : '+IntToStr(DropLoads)+' times');
to
Writeln('+--Mined/Dropped : '+IntToStr(DropLoads)+' loads');
Some people may be confused by times, so make it loads. And don't put approx, number of loads is 100 % accurate.
chuch!
2006-04-30 00:37:07
This is the one I'm currently using. It's not as up to date as some, it's not even using SRL, but it's the best one I could get a hold of. It gets held up on Boxes and Certs. Anyway here it is. Just hit go and it'll do the rest.

agh! guys, please keep faith in me. I've been updating all day, and I'm updating a very decent version this time. It works MUCH MUCH better if you wield pick, but you don't have to. Also, I tested it and only doesn't do like 2 random events. It's pretty decent.

I didn't post that because I lost faith. That's the miner I've been using for a few days now, I've been checking back on your thread often from th is computer while my other is mining. I look forward to testing your revised edition. I'll be sure to leave feedback and progress reports if your miner has them.

Hey ejjman1 it would be cool if you make it just keep mining until it finishes one ore and then goes to the next ore. Right now it just keeps clicking on the ores, as there is a certain amount of seconds before it clicks again. One more thing dude, can you please make it drop the ores faster. It takes forever.

I got your PM and it's working great right now. Its either using a great anti-random or I haven't encountered any(most likely the former as you always encounter randoms). I do have one question though. In your pic you show the tin rocks that are like this
*
* *
—*
Whenever I start it there it moves a few feet to the east to the tin rocks like this
–*
-*
Is this supposed to happen or is this something wrong on my part?
Ejjman
2006-04-30 19:17:27
LOL, actually, I don't think it matters, lol. It does it for me too, and it still works great! Cuch!, could you post your progress reports if you get some? Thanks.
chuch!
2006-04-30 19:36:56
One question. Is there any way to make it leave my first 4 inventory slots alone? I usually wield 1 pick and have four in my inventory(gives it a little bit more time to auto.
*edit* I just can't get this to work. It clicks one rock then spasticly begins clicking others, never staying on any one rock.
Example: It'll click a tin rock then right away click a copper rock, I only put tin colors in so I don't know what's going on. I never get any ores because it doesn't give my guy enough time to mine them.
PS. It lags the client horribly, does that happen to you?
Ejjman
2006-04-30 19:52:24
Lag? Never to me. Suggestion: Restart computer and make sure SRL is the latest version.
Not enough time? Mining Lvl? What pick are you using? PM this information to me and I'll edit it so it will stay and mine them.
4Slots? I edited for you. I'll PM you it right away.
Anymore questions? Please ask me then, and I'll be glad to answer them as best as I can.
EDIT: I'm updating more info in right now. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE SETUP!
EDIT2: OK, I just updated it to what I'm using. I'll test out tin and see if it still does that.
chuch!
2006-04-30 20:02:18
I'm 48 mining and am using bronze picks(throw away account). It'll start out great, click the rock, but then it'll just start clicking every rock(now it stays still atleast). Also it continually clicks, this causes in game lag(takes a long time to switch from rock to rock) is it possible to make it click once, detect rock color change and move on to the next rock? I'm not a scripter so I don't know if what I'm saying is impossible, but other than the things I said this script is amazing.
Ejjman
2006-04-30 20:09:14
OK chuch!, here is the lowdown…
I can make it so it will wait a certain amount of seconds between each click, letting you have the time to actually mine it. Also, I tested tin, and it is a little worse than, copper, so I suggest you use copper; its same exp, and it works better. I have tested it, so I think you'll do great. Did you get my PM of having the 4 picks? If so, did it work? OK, now the last thing is…How long do you think it will take you to mine a rock using a bronze pick, between this amount of seconds, and this amount? You tell me, I'll edit, and then I'll send you what I've edited…
Thanks for your great support on my script.
-Ejjman1
chuch!
2006-04-30 20:12:14
To get the ore probably 8-9 seconds. As for the picks, it's working great. And suppot =P I figured you'd get annoyed lol.
*edit* Is the miner supposed to pick up pick heads that fly off? Mine just flew off and it didn't pick it up. It doesn't matter though since I have 5 picks on me.
Ejjman
2006-04-30 20:17:05
Ha, ya right! Feedback is my favorite thing…as for graphical updates on RS, those are different…
procedure OreMine;
Begin
If(FindColorSpiralTolerance(x, y, RockCol1, 6, 7, 511, 336, 5))or
(FindColorSpiralTolerance(x, y, RockCol2, 6, 7, 511, 336, 5))then
Begin
MMouse(x, y, 2, 2);
If(IsUpText('Mine'))then
Begin
Mouse(x, y, 2, 2, True);
AntiRandoms;
wait(1000+random(2000)); //Waits between 1 and 2 seconds per click
End;
End;
End;
Copy and paste this over the wait.
wait(8000+random(9000)); //Waits between 8 and 9 seconds per click
EDIT: Sry about the pickhead…It only works if you wield the pick =/ SRY…If you're using bronze pickaxe, why not just wield it for now lol?
chuch!
2006-04-30 20:18:57
Thanks I'll go do that right now, and now that I know how to do it I can adjust it to the perfect timing. This is becoming my favorite miner. I just have to get a few randoms and see how it holds up.

EDIT2: I'm gonna run the script, I've just updated SRL 1.1 even though I already had, but friend told me to cuz I didn't do right or something, and I think all people should re-update it even if you think u have already. Have fun with my script, and I'll continue to update…Post your reports!

Updated, use player arrays :D. You should try it, and then make it mine a bunch. It will now actually gamble the new boxes I think. If it does for you, then post so I can say it works instead of (Testing…)

Edit. I understand player arrays, but it mines one load walks a bout 100yds north and then sits there. What's going on?

If anyone needs a great power miner I 100% reccomend this. It works great. It mines the load, drops it. Fixes your picks when they fly off, you can alter it to leave the first 4 slots untouched when it's dropping ores(more picks=longer runtime). It'll run from the rock gollem/chicken and then run back. You can set your click speed to match your mining level which equals greater exp at higher levels. It talks to 90% of randoms(the pirate, the highwayman, the dwarf etc etc. When you have a box it'll try it(I've never seen it, but I always have 2 boxes when it logs out so I guess it works) and then log you out. This is easilly the best powerminer out there.
100% efficiency.

I use for copper. Try these following things.
1.)32 bit TRUE color res
2.)Low detail game
3.)Very Bright screen
4.)input your own colors of 2 rocks you wish to mine(2 diff colors)
5.)Change this to a slower speed:
{~~~~~~~~~~OreMine~~~~~~~~~~}
procedure OreMine;
Begin
If(FindColorSpiralTolerance(x, y, RockCol1, 6, 7, 511, 336, 5))or
(FindColorSpiralTolerance(x, y, RockCol2, 6, 7, 511, 336, 5))then
Begin
MMouse(x, y, 2, 2);
If(IsUpText('Mine'))then
Begin
Mouse(x, y, 2, 2, True);
AntiRandoms;
wait(4000+random(5000)); //Waits between 4 and 5 seconds per click
End;
End;
End;
{~~~~~~~~~~OreMine~~~~~~~~~~}
(notice I have mine at 4000-5000. Default is 1000-2000.)
That's all that I can suggest, it works great for me.
One last thing. This is the setting to have it keep the first 4 lines of inventory.
{~~~~~~~~~~DropOres~~~~~~~~~~}
procedure DropOres;
Begin
BenMouse:=False;
if(EquipPick=True)then
DropToPosition(5, 13)
FindNormalRandoms;
DropToPosition(14, 28)
if(EquipPick=False)then
Begin
DropToPosition(5, 13)
FindNormalRandoms;
DropToPosition(14, 28)
End;
BenMouse:=True
End;
{~~~~~~~~~~DropOres~~~~~~~~~~}
Just paste that over the previous commands.
*edit*… I don't know how to paste is in true form(with spaces etc). I've sen it done but have no clue how to do it, if anyone could explain it to I'd be thankful. PS: don't use these commands untill they're fixed, I doubt it'd work w/o the spaces.

It doesn't do the randoms properly. It failed the frog princess random, but I don't know if you have that on there. Also when I was fighting against a swarm, it ran too far north and didn't go back to where I was. Also it doesn't work good with the random events that talk to you, I just had the banker one and it didn't do anything so my pickaxes turned into notes.
chuch!
2006-05-01 23:34:11
Frog princess is a hard random becuase of how many there are, it is possible though. The certer is impossible for leechers(the SRL members probably have one though). And for the swarm, my guy always runs the perfect distance, and then runs back, be sure that your screen is directly north.
leader
2006-05-02 01:14:02
Yeah it is facing north, but doesn't go back. I have had some random box events, its good that it logs out after the try to solve it. The certer? After I mine and drop the ores it keeps the cursor on the dropped ores instead of mining again. Please fix that.

I think you should try fixing the random gas too, it doesn't work that well. I will try to find some scripts that you can look at for a reference. Also after like 3 minutes I keep logging out, do you know the cause?

I turned that on during my shower/breakfast. It works great for me. The "your name has been spotted on the screen" is when the frog princess comes. Perhaps a bitmap of the crown could work? Do you keep your chat on? Also don't you log off after a while, when I use the this powerminer I log off after 3-5 minutes. I don't know why, but I just do. Also what about the mining and dropping? Sometimes after it drops the ores, it doesn't go back to mining and keeps the mouse on the ores and stays there.

3-5 Minute logging…Did you set the total ore to above how many ou can get in 3-5 minutes?
Ore over mouse…I'm sry, it does that. I haven't seen it do it under copper ore.
Keep trying, and see if you can get it to work. Change the time to mine it to higher if using lower lvl picks.

use 3 or 4 letters that are in your name, personally i suggest 3 things when picking it
–> NO Zero's
–> Something that people don't say commonly
–> LowerCase letters from your name are better?
I find if you use Zero's it won't work properly since runescape updated the font and ade the zero and O look diifferent. Find a part of your name that people arent gonna say in normal talk because it could cause it to look for randoms if they do. Not sure about hte lowercase but i always thought the lowercase letters workd' better.

From the manual… *sigh*
The Player Array
Main philosophy behind SRL is to play with many player, not with one! These players are all lined up, they play for a short time, and then they log out to make way for the next player. This approach has a number of advantages.
- It is much less obvious you are autoing.
- Better profite because scripts generally run much longer.
- the number of randoms your Player encounters dramatically goes down.
The Player Array is easy to set up, but you will need to know a bit about Arrays to fully comprehend it.
HowManyPlayers :=6;
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers);
CurrentPlayer:=0;
Players[0].Name :='yourname';
Players[0].Pass :='yourpass';
Players[0].Nick :='urna';
Players[0].Loc :='yourloc';
Players[0].Skill:='yourskill';
Players[0].Active:=True;
You set HowManyPlayers. It determines the amount of players you have.
You call NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers); to set the array length and initialize the StartPlayer.
The global CurrentPlayer contains the ArrayIndex. Players[CurrentPlayer] is the one playing.
You set the Players Name, Pass and Nick. The first two are obvious, the third one needs some explanation.
SRL checks for randoms by scanning the yellow text from the mainscreen. If you encounter a Random, your name always appears on the mainscreen. That is what we scan for in Nick. Nick doesnt need your whole name. Take two, three or four letters from it and put it in Nick. Example: if your runescape is Qwertyuiop, good Nicks would be: tyu, erty, uio or iop. Note however that nick should NOT contain the First Letter Of Your RuneScapeName, Since These Are Always capitalised.
loc is used to store the Players location. You will need to set this location manually. If, for instance, you are sure you are at location Brumlidge, you set Players[CurrentPlayer].loc :='Brumlidge'; You can now safely log out.
skill is an optional parameter allowing you to assign different tasks to each Player. For mining for instance, you might set this to 'copper' for Player1 and 'iron' for Player2.
active determines the Player state. If active is True, then our Player is fine and standing at a known place in our script. If active is False, this means that our Player has unexpectedly logged out. active is set in the procedure NextPlayer(active; Boolean), Warning: if you set active to False at script startup, the Player will be inactive.

Then it clicks on existing user, username, password, and login. But doesn't type the username or password where it is supposed to. Maybe you should try it with your account. Also can you pleae tell me how to make it wait longer before clicking on the ore again as I cannot find the place where it last was. For some reason it isn't doing the gas random anymore. Anytime. I thought it was there, but it only shows all the skills it doesn't show a main one that you pick. I don't think the gas random works anymore either. I never see the error come up anymore.
Does the genie random work for you? I still don't get what to do to make it work. I have had the random 3 times now and have had to pick the skill myself. Thank you for helping me.

Blast! You're right…Well I'm going to work on other things, because I've heard a rumor about the new SRL version will contain a fixed lamp thing, including other great miracles :D Can't wait! In the meantime, I'll mess around with the clicking procedure and stuff.

When I open up the srl Antirandom and go down to find Lamp. It doesn't ask for which skill I want to make it pick. It just shows all of them.
Also that image, in order to see it do I have to join that website?

How did you get this? How did you know it was supposed to be 2?
Mouse(x, y, 2, 2, True);
Just curious, but how come the gas random error stopped coming up?
Ejjman
2006-05-11 19:29:29
De Nada.
Now, the 2, 2 is just a random spot for the mouse to go to. It's nothing special. It just moves the mouse a little random.
OK, the gas error…Is that good or bad?
EDIT: I tested and got a new progress report, but it quit because I missed box. I did hit one successful box though, but the next one, that was in 10 minutes, missed so I logged. Come on Fawk, work your heart into updating SRL!

The old gas error that used to pop up; the old gas error was the one that used to say that you cannot use this pickaxe or something like that. It used to appear on yours whenever it clicked on the gas. Then it wouldn't let you mine the rock because of the error.
Ejjman
2006-05-11 22:58:19
I made the forum look better by using Fawk's style, so you might find things easier.
I dunno about that, maybe Jagex realized that that just made PowerMining or mining in general lots ezier. I think the PowerMiner will still dodge the gas.

Don't worry guys, Fawki and the team will come up with a way to dodge it for now. Just bring like, 5 or 6 mith pickaxes, and then you won't have to worry about them. I'm sry for this trouble, and I'm currently looking into mainly gas right now

lol okay … i suggest instead of bring couple of pickaxes it should go to the bank and get it … casue i think JAGEX is really gonna think you are an auoter casue you have like 6 pickaxes in ur inventory ANd u keep ON breaking the pickaxe by THE GAS.

I think I've done it! I've uploaded the next version, and I'm feeling great about the gas. You must try this out, and I think we have a solution! This is the gas finder that WT-Fakawi uses himself!
EDIT: Updated with version 2! I'm going to test it out for awhile with only 1 pickaxe in my inventory.

I'm P.O'ed at Jagex for ever coming out with gas. I'm resorting to copying directly from Fakawi's words.

A problem is… it mistakes the color of the droppped ore on the ground as the rock. but it doesnt click it.
It doesnt click the copper ore on the ground because the base of the ore is way more different than the rock. I am also unable to hide the ore under my mage robes :p
Gas totally doesnt work… had two broken pickaxes… I am currently going to make a solution to this… look in the scripts suggestions section.

Wow, this script runs great. The only error I see is that when the inventory fills up and it starts dropping ores it sometimes misses the ore when it right clicks. Therefor it skips a couple of ores. I normally end up with about 5-10 ores left in my inventory when it finishes dropping. Though, it runs so nice and quick that there is no deficiency, even with that "problem." All it does it change the amount of ores mined compared to the 'loads.'
I havn't had a smoking rock yet though.
Runs great! Takes about 2 minutes 20 seconds per load. I'll post a progress report later, after I let it run for a while.
Thanks mucho!

OK, Make sure you fill in the Player setup or else the name thing won't work. You probably aren't using the nickname right also. U put a part of your name ,3-4 letters, so that it will search for that. Make sure people won't say that sequence a lot or never.
Example:
Username: Minerdood
Password: Owningyou
Nick: erdo //People won't say this often. Some tips are choosing this is. NVR CHOOSE FIRST PART OF NAME OR WORD. Also, NVR CHOOSE 0 since of the new update.
Check out sweet progress report on first page.

How is missing ores a good thing? It makes it more detectable. When you drop ores playing legit, you don't just randomly miss some; then not go back and retry.
My randoms are messed up, I'm not sure why. I don't know why my SRL randoms arn't working too well. It might be because I lag while running the script?
It's weird because I run an AMD Athlon XP 1600+ with 768 mb RAM. When I run a script I only have 16 processes…Including scar and the IE rs client.
But, I lag anyways.

Depends what script your using, ineffiecient scripts, that Find a Color through the whole screen to much, or have to many stored variables etc, will tend to lag.

Hey ejjman.
Not bad.
I've been testing it on a noob lvl 10 (lvl 50 mining) guy. I disabled player array functionality, since that wasn't working too well for me.
as a known issue… it can lock onto your characters clothing and walks you up one square progressively until it gets lost. Perhaps checking for "Mine Rocks" before the click. Just my noob suggestion.
Gas would be nice. :) my watchful eye has saved the pick a few times. Without gas functionalilty, it limits the running time capacity for sure.
Interesting feature is that when I lag it up. (as sometimes happens when running on virtual machines) it doesn't miss any ores in the drop sequence.
No reports, but I've never had it running longer than 30 mins without stopping for gas or something else..
