I just found this website smurg.net and it offers Colour scripts that "run on SIMBA and use an applet called SMART". I just saw an SRL member by the name of smurg and he has the Same script as the website. Others scripts you need to pay for.
Is this allowed? Or should yohojo aka the copy-buster do something?

its allowed as long as the sales stay on his site
He hasn't technically 'stolen' anything, just mimicked countless other 'flakes' that have done the same before. Everyone should know the Simba and SRL is open source and free, if they choose to pay for the same scripts, then that's their own mistake.
I'm not saying I agree with smurg's site, or the concept, but it has not technically broken any rules here.
Yeah didn't think it was against the rules. Looked a bit dodgy before I saw that smurg was an SRL Member

Smurg website is quite known around here and has been discussed before, absolutely okay and nothing harmful :)

Hi Crit Boy,
The author's of their scripts are free to do what they will with them. Some choose to sell them, others choose to place them here for use for free. However, those that choose to sell them cannot do so here (as it is against
the rules), so many resort to other websites (or create their own, such as what smurg did).
Regards,
~ Daniel.
Its Okay I didn't mean to sound hateful.
I was just wondering. It just didn't seem like he gave SRL any credit for Simba and SMART but that fine…
Thanks for all your wonderful explanations people.

No no, that's okay. And thank you for keeping out a keen eye and reporting things like these :)

Smurg is an upstanding member of the community…nothing inappropriate or odd coming from him or his website….

…nothing inappropriate.
That is a matter of point of view :)
The only objective thing you can say he doesn't brake the rules.

He created the scripts therefore should be allowed to sell them shouldn't he?
Tons of people create and sell scripts on sites like sythe.

Its a matter of opinion.
We should leave it at that, he didn't create the include/nor the client which it runs.
He isn't breaking the rules, the rest is up to him.

I have posted on several pages that Simba and SRL are needed for the scripts. They are open source projects contributed go by the community.
In no way do I take credit for them. How should I "give credit" though do you think? Open to any suggestions.

When you think about it, in the RsBots.net days, as far as I am aware they didn't give credit either, they just provided a download link. >.<

Nexus took money from the sales….
