I got these from Nebula yesterday. He later said to ignore it all because he was high and just having fun. However, I question the effect Shay is having on people here at SRL.

you know man, I was going to write you a long letter of how thankful I am of you. Even though I don't know you, the only times I have really notably seen you were in a case that you were helping me. Right so like a long time ago (well maybe not long for you since you've been here for like 6 years) you helped me on my script application. s1n (now shay) was saying some crap to me about how I fail at scripting since I chose to use a function instead of a procedure. I was down in the dirt and he was like "no! I'm right!" but then you there were for me to say " no! functions should be used in this case, not procedures!" not only you helped me once there, you helped me twice. you helped me break the chains of nooby ACA-generated functions. so anyways and now, you repped me. thanks man. I +reped you on the thread where that happened so you can find it. so on that thread something happened that never happened to me before. And I want to talk to you about it and hopefully you will be nice and not tell anyone about it because its bad. I had a really bad grudge agains s1n/shay ever since that thread happened. Idk what it is but I think it's because I don't like to be told what I can't do. If someone tell's me "oh your not good enough" or "you can't" I will say " I will". right so s1n told me I wasn't good enough at scripting to be a SRL member (which now I look back and say "wow dude, you were a shitty scripter (to myself)) but just because of that, I wanted to be even better. And you can see it started happening right from the start, me hating s1n/shay right off the bat I give him attitude and start hating him Ex:

"Yes I used ACA… is it against the rules to use it in scripts? I don't think so."

"If it isn't efficient, then how is it possible that people have posted 6 Hour progress reports on the thread?" – that is VERY cocky!

"Okay, here's a script that is "100% mine". It has no ACA, and the banking is a procedure not a function. Hope you're happy." - pure attitude.

So I wanted to start being a dick to him but without being caught. So I just started -repping him. It started out as the occasional -rep when I saw a post he made that I didn't like. then it was like one a day. Then I started repping him as often as I could (checking periodically checking to see if I could -rep him due to limits). then It got to a point where I was purposely +repping other people for random reasons, just to avoid the rep limit and -repped multiple times in a row. Then It got to a point where I think his rep may have dropped below negative below because of it, and I saw he had DISABLED REP. When I saw that I have been sad and sad about it ever since. And I want to apologize to him for it and give him lots of +reps to make up for it but i do I don't know what to say.

Can you be the nice person that you always have been and tell me what to say to him?

There are already two threads in this section about shay/sin. He is pushing it to the edge every time he posts. He is well aware of his attitude but I think that he assumes that because he wrote a lot of scripts, he is some sort of hero on which other rules apply.

I guess I must have missed when this happened. I don't know much about Nebula so my opinion is neutral for him, but my opinion remains the same about Shay; much over-due for a de-ranking or some other wake-up pill. It's getting old and still nothing has been done about it, why not?

After ;) I only spoke to him after Bam_Bam had made this thread (and infracted Nebula for Insulting Other Members).

I still think something needs to be done, very soon. Shay needs to learn his attitude does affect people.

Thats the thing that bothers me sbout all this In this one instance he seemed to want to end the drama but they both feed into it. i was almkst uneasy about infracting Nebula because its not all him but i think he knows better than to trash someone so publicly. If he thinks the script was poorly written he could have left suggestions, instead he's trying to start a war with Shay. I suspect a large portion of this stems from the discussion I had with Shay on Nebulas member application (im on my phone so im not goig to link but yiu guys know how to search :P ) Did I do the right thing by infracting Neb? I still think he deserved it and ultimately an infraction doesn't amount to much except a blow to yoir ego once expired so I dont think I'll worry about it so much.

I wish i knew what he was on when be wrote out that first PM. I hadn't read the whole thing until now.

Sin has write bunch loads of shitty scripts to gain his "rank" among leechers now days. I hope you all get what I mean, but that should not be reason that we can't take care of our community and place that kind of guys back on earth.

I don't like Sin personally at all, he is rude to new members and thinks that he knows it all.

Sorry, for the triple but its a new thought. I'm in agreement with those who say action needs to be taken against Shay. Demoting him, explaining to the members why we did it, and then giving him a chance to reapply in two months is what I propose. Hopefully he doesn't try to sneak back in with a new account but I cant imagine why he would bother unless he rage quits SRL.

I understand that, I'm not saying Shay isn't a little prick. I'm just saying it seems like a grudge. That comment came off wrong.

How come we don't see any admin opinion in these threads? It's well known that many of us don't like him, this thread only reinforces that, but we haven't got the power to do much against him.

The only thing we could do would infract him for being a spam bot :p

I'd say de-rank shay. He's had it a long time coming and I've given him multiple warnings and infractions.

Well, I've given both of them a good and stern talking to. There should be no more Nebula versus Shay anywhere on these forums. :)

Good to see Daniel. Also to the SSRL if you see Shay(SIN) as needing a time out after insulting someone then infract him for it. He will rack up enough Points to hit a temp ban sooner or later. If he doesn't learn from the first temp ban then he'll rack the infractions for an even longer one. Yes it is possible to earn a perm ban from this. It's not the best solution but it is something that you can do. Make sure when you do make an infraction on it that the reasoning behind it is good. If you get heated over what he said then wait a bit back up then come back and take another look at it when you've calmed down enough to think clearly. I've made a few mistakes in my time by not following these guidelines I named.

He has enough warnings and infractions as it is. He needs to be deranked. Do it while he's in FL :p
