Hey, you.. Yeah! You! You want to know if you ready for SRL mems? Don't wanna piss them off by make a bunch of threads in the app section? Use this one! Post the scripts you want to have checked out, and some SRL mems will critique you on it, telling you what you need to improve, and if they'd say yes or no. (They don't have to if they don't wanna, don't be a whinny B*tch.
Well, post!
Well, this is for you, SRL Members. Now, less useless threads in the app section.
(I had to learn the hard way that you shouldn't apply a bunch of.. well.. spam.)

I think people typically know if they are ready for SRL members or not. Plus there are multiple threads about the topic of SRL application and even a program that can help critique scripts but I forgot the name of it and who made it.
Bobbo Hobbo's SRL Members Application Tool will be your best bet. There is alot of consideration that goes into an SRL member's vote on an application (as you can see in the many threads on the topic). So I don't think anyone will look through scripts(if they get posted here) and give a yes or no purely based on that.
Best bet is to try and fill the requirements in a thread, be active, friendly and helpful and then submit an application if you think you are ready. If you aren't you will be told and you will also be told the things you need to improve on to be ready.

However, the quality of the script is only half of what I look for when I'm going over applicants. If you seem like a jerk (and I realize it in time) you haven't got a chance with me.

Honestly
Daniel's guide tells you most of what is needed
I think it would be much more beneficial to PM members if they wouldn't mind reviewing your script to give some feedback on whether you are ready or not.

Btw, I'm kinda curious what scripts have you all new SRL members applied. Want to see if I had the standard to apply yet too :p

This was just a general thing for everyone to use, so the mems can come when they wanna check something out, so there's less bother on them. I'm just trying to help.

There is nothing wrong with not getting in the first attempt, many people don't including me back in the days…. So try your best Mates, and just apply when you think you are ready…. Just please do not write something that doesn't compile or anything as simple as 'Hello World'..

This is pretty much it, just follow the basic guidelines in the guide linked above and go for it if you truly think you have what it takes. Remember 50% of the mark is based off your community contribution and attitude.
But honestly, even if you are a nice guy, don't apply with a fish slapper or w/e from yohojo's tutorial…

Not to mention, it doesn't matter what the script does that affects the game. It's how the script works ;)
I failed my first application, (was like, 6 yes to 17 no if I recall correctly. That was the first month of me joining, wasn't a good idea on my part. :P )
Got in on my second, after I had become a little bit more known here, and wrote a few scripts and tutorials.
It's all if you think you've been a help to this community, that's what I would ask myself. Have you contributed? If the answer is no, I would hold off, until you do. A large part is the community.

It's a script Yohojo made in his second tutorial for another flash game.

Honestly, just be ACTIVE and participate in the community.
I look for a good script, and activity. I vote more towards the community aspect of SRL than the scripting side
(But mind you, I still require a script and a decent one at that but am NOT looking for God's next gift to the world)

Someone post the link to that membership program, the one that says if you are ready to apply or not. I can't find it because let's be honest, the search function isn't very good. Basically it tells you weather or not you should apply, don't rely on it 100%, but if you get a 0, it's probably trying to tell you something.

http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78375In the future, go to google and do a search like so. The results are always 1000x better than the search button.
