I heard about this 2 or 3 years ago when the town had been chosen to try this in. I would love to have this considering I get 350Kb/S down and 50 Kb/s up. :/

Most likely? Actually majority of USA uses phone/tv/internet packages..
Also you have to pay $300 for installation unless you go with a year or so contract, one of my partners lives there we're looking at having a server house there.
Glad google is the first company to roll out with fiber that isn't complete shit, not sure why we've used 10mbps/100mbps fiber all around the world for the past decade+ when we got 10gbps laying in warehouses, poor bastard companies..
google also said their fiber is capable of well over 1gbps per household so we may see an increase in the future

Heard about this years ago, I think it's awesome! I hope they can expand it to other cities and states. I'd gladly pay $70 a month for that!
You'd be host every time when playing BF3 or MW3 :p

Happened quite a long time ago :P
I would pay anything under $150 for this, screw a phone line (I could skype, and use the wifi on my TV to access some netflix)

Idk how I never heard of this.. if it came to my area, I'd definitely think of buying it. You'd have to be crazy not to. I'd probably go with the 1st option. $300 and free internet for life (not bad download and upload for the deal you're getting). I don't think I'd have any use for the 1gbps speeds lol.
