Yea, I think it's funny how on the top one they barely even stick the landing, that's like the biggest thing to judges for god knows why.. I can't do it because I busted my knee dirt biking & then from a 12ft drop lol.

I think a big part of it is travel and information awareness, a lot of people with potential 54 years ago would be maybe working on farms, living with family having to take care of their 10 brothers and sisters.. type thing and only the more fortunate would be able to participate or even knew about the Olympics.
Today you get sponsors, you can find, read, view data across the planet in fractions of a second.. people are able to have much more luxury types of lives which gives them the free time to train etc
