SRL Archive - Outdated / Broken

Well, i made this form, and i like the concept of it. It is like starblasters powerskills, but instead of small scripts like he has, imagine full scripts made by the best. Im calling it a script library because just 1 download, and youve got all the scripts you will ever need. It still has bugs, and maybe it wont even work, but I like the idea. Please tell me what you think, and i mostly jus twant to know if this idea will work so i can continue to get out the bugs and convert scripts so they will work. Ty.

EDIT: my main concern right now is that it will lag too much considering it doesnt even have a script in it yet and its already 1455 lines. And after scripts are put in, it will be like 20k+ lines probably lol

I like the form. But im sure there must be some more efficient way to do this. Maybe download this script, and the first time you run it, it will download the scripts into your scar folder? ANd the multiple scripts are includes in the main script. Of course, that would need som modifying, but it could work.

I dont' feel like spamminf my script section and all, so maybe mart enough to do folders like wcing, mining, etc.

Are you saying that when you first run it, it will download the scripts from a site directly into a folder, then when you click run for a specific script, it will access where all the scripts were put and it will run the one you selected? Is it possible for it to run a script from a different folder or no?

yo i really like the idea….if we could get it to load any script from this site , then we could have the form have different sections (like ejjman1 said), then have it load all script with the category (wc, mining, etc.)

also in the randoms, (i dont kno if i do it tirhgt but i do it this way:) when it says NextPlayer(True), I change that to NextPlayer(Active) and put active as a boolean variable. it seems to work for me

I also recomend adding most of my antiban(check it in my alcher/teleporter in members), i think i have some good stuff in it that it could use. also, mine are for on the spot actions, so have it be a random(w/e) and list them just liek mine (this is up to yo, I think some of the things are pretty useful)

and i dont understand the progress report thats in there, most scripts have their own so i would just take it out, and if we could have it so all the scripts in it should have their own forms already made, so you can take out the loads thing in the form (kinda weird to me)
so all the forms you made should be for choosing the script and setting players too maybe.
i kno its gunna be hard, but i think itll be worth it in the end.

BTW: thanks for icluding my teelporter in there :) But if you would, just change the teleporter v2 to my Alcher/Teleporter (its in memebrs section, its MUCH better).

I just chose some random script titles to give examples of what section they would go under. Im still not 100% sure what the best way of doing this idea would be, how can you select a script from the form, push play, and it will do that script you specified. The only way i can see it happeneing is if i put it in the script so im not sure. I dont see how it downloading all the scripts into a folder will help exactly.

yeah (i just edited my post before btw), i think it would be better inside this sciprt, because if you have to download all the scripts anyway then this serves no real purpose. idk i think they should all be in the script or download them from the web somehow.

Ide change the progress report of course. I think im going to start to put in some scripts and fix up the form. If anyone wants to help, have any suggestions, or knows a better way, fell free to post here or pm me.

for the progress report, i would just delete it cuz all the good scripts have their own anyways, and if you made one for all of them i dont kno how that would work well.

I guess i could just rename all the progress report soemthing like ProgressReport1, ProgressReport2, ProgressReport3, ect. so it will only use the one in the specified script. Im going to do that if any of them have the same name for thier progress report procedures.

good idea……but only change them if there are 2 with the same name (and then you have to find where else is uses the old one in that script and change it :eek: this is where Ctrl + F will come in handy lol)
