After testing for two weeks, I am proud to release a key tool in magic scripts my friends. Let me first say thanks to TARAJUNKY, and WT-Fawkawi for some awesome functions/procedures.

60,000 Mind runes
60,000 Air runes
in under two weeks (on and off autoing)
WONDERFUL overnight script.

I am releasing this beta for comments/suggestions. Would appreciate any constructive criticism. (bare in mind this is my second script). It was wonderful to have near 70,000 minds and airs to distribute to my magic army in training.

HOW IT WORKS: You must have at least 20 players for Rune Abuse. You need a minimum of 5 mules for Rune Mule.

Rune Abuser: Any characters, place next to the tree just to the west of the Magic Instructor.
1. Pick colors UNIQUE to your set of mules.( I made a set of purple hair mules specific for this script)
2. Pick colors of dropped runes. (air, mind)
3. REMOVE ALL AIR AND MIND RUNES FROM BANK AND CARRY IN INVENTORY.
(hopefully this is less than 30, cuz there is small chance you might lose them.)

Rune Mule:
1. Pick the color of the Magic Tutor off the dress (white). This will allow for your mule to people watch, and hang out a little longer waiting for trades.
2. Set all your mules as close to the Lumby wall just south of the magic tutor as you can. They should almost be hidden, and the hair should be the mule color you use, so that they are almost hiding by the wall with their hair poking out. Other locations work well, just pretend there is a box around the path the Magic tutor walks and place the outside of that path. DO NOT PUT YOUR MULE DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE MAGIC TUTOR. i did it once…..no runes.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN:\
Your abusers are going to try and trade their stacks to the mule, but if they can't find him, or the mules are changing out, the abuser is going to drop the runes they have in inventory. Then once they drop the current runes, they will claim more runes from the magic tutor. They then scan to try and pick back up the stack. Hopefully, next time, or the time after that they find the mule and trade the stack. Either way it racks up insane minutes of server abuse on fagex. Plus, newbs love the stacks when the abusers miss the pickups. I know this whole process could be tightend up but I have other projects (rl) I must focus on.

I usually run this overnight, and wake up and check my mules. 1000-2000 runes of each is a normal haul per mule.

BUGS: I have seen problems on older PC's (due to my dtm usage i think) where the timing is slightly off in the trades, adjust the wait times for faster/slower pc's or give me a procedure/function in order to adjust fast/slow pc's. Try it and let me know if it was just a fluke for me….

I thought about making a rune seller, back to the port sarim shop.
The airs were like 4-6 gold——so 200k
The minds were a bit more——like 300k for the batch.
so almost half a mil for the whole batch.

i wasn't really aggressive on it though, i think the script can run like damn near 24/7 if you wanted to.

Ah, I was wondering what you were using to get all those runes. Sounds like a really good idea man. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to try it out.

yes…Either virtual machine or two pc's.

This i believe, is the first of this type of script and I will continue to make more along this concept: 2 autoers helping each other out.

Future alpha versions will incorporate a chat feature amoung bots:to verify trade, but that is a while out for now, unless a co-author wants to step in.

I was tempted to release this to free scripts section, just to encourage more poeple to build larger armies. I have personal reasons for the large army concept, as I see it becoming crucial in the mandrian bot war.

It is strange this script is dynamic in that it isn't 100% accurate. Sometimes it makes the trade sometimes not, even still sometimes it hits it almost down to the last second of a trade. It is not a constant. The random wait is already built into the script by the fact that sometimes it completely fails the trade.

On a completely seprate note, I was expecting alot of my lvl 3-6 guys that i built for this experiment to get banned. But the strange thing is that they almost seem to be random proof.

Example being ins that they sometimes pick up bones. It was the wieredest thing to log into 10 accounts in a row and bury a bone on each account and see a random pop up. There have been zero bans throught testing on over 30 accounts. The trade function really seems to clear up a flag for some reason…

can anyone actually use a VM and open runescape on the host machine at the same time? I have a great computer (2gb ram,athlon 3700+ overclocked, 7900gs,74gb raptor) And I cant seem to have a runescape window opened in the VM and my host machine simultaneously… Which ever client i open second..appears only as a white box….sry to hijack but mebe you got it to work :/

I have encountered the white box problem several times. It seems to occur on athlon boxes. I alt+tab, or min-max the screen until the java kicks back in….my machines are also screaming at me for a java update.

of note this problem is worse on my xp boxes and not my win2k pc's.

also of note try one signed client, and one unsigned to minimize this white box issue.

exactly what i did….it was awesome…level 30 on 9 accounts overnight. and like 3000 runes each left over on each account…going to see how high it will go in terms of lvl.

had to give back to the community with something awesome, i just hope we can all use it without overlapping. That was the main reason not to release, but I believe the srl community can figure this one out….it will be interesting to see people test it….i want to see you all get the results i got, but afraid to see overlap of bots, but we will see it is an experiment of sorts.

Just a guess here, but it seems to be the athlons hyperthreading, and if its 64-bit your in for a real fun time on VM or any java app in VM mode.

Hyperthreading is in your bios and most older softwares (scar) hate in vm mode…..it tries to run the softwarze wayyyyy to fast. just a guess….

poke in your bios for hyperthreading. ( so off topic it was fun)

So in the BIOS can I enable or Disable Hyper threading. I thought this was only is pentium 4's :confused:

It is the motherboard…..it can be under cpu options. Or Processor features,,,really depends on your specs….pm your specs to me.

wow thats a great idea! Truly a revolutionary concept (well, except for solemn's 2 account powerminer, but its kinda different, i guess)! Too bad i can't use this… my comp is too screwed up to have a VM lol. But once i get my new comp, ill try this out!

Just a thought: wouldnt it be much more usefull if the slave and master account are on each others friend list. That way you could easily spot each other on the minimap. (Green spot) And you could message via pm the state of affairs.

I had tried this in some intial versions, had the oddest things happen with the anti-randoms procedures though. On more than one occasion it would hover over the friends list and go slightly insane, so i cut it out. Couldv'e been the way i built the main loop, but idk.

Would love a some reccomendations.

I have a friend-adding script. All my autoers are on each other friendslist. It is needed for RC ofcourse. Look at RC and copy/paste/modify routines for your script. I havent studied your script, but I like the idea. I will take a look tonight (maybe…)

my computer is probably like half of what yours is, and i can run a virtual machine, you just have to se your ram on the VM really high, or else it's going to be horrible. i usualy run my noobs on Tarajunkyks Chicken killer and just collect feathers, it's very slow, but hey, who cares? i'm autoing gob schedualer 10 accounts on my host, and 4 accounts picking feathers on my VM :p


BTW this script looks awesome, and i'm going to deffinitely use it today when i'm at work (7 hours) to test it out. leaf, i'll let you know all the details tonight, around 11:30 PM (USA) (it's 12:30 in the afternoon.)

I set up two diferent armies 20 abusers each. 5 mules apiece. 2 different worlds.

After running overnight from 8 pm to this morning (8am) i hauled 15,000 runes total. So roughly 7,500 runes per run.

PS. I am noticing a glitch where the mules are ending up inside the lumby wall(not good). Need an idea on how to get them back center, but just next to the wall. Check your mules every once in awhile.

It sounds good, but i only have 1 comp and no vm. Can you just tell it to claim runes, drop runes, claim more runes, drop them, claim more, and then pick up the ones you dropped and repeat? That makes more sense to me since you only need 1 char.

But then you would risk losing it all every time.

Please explain why you risk losing them my way when you don't his way.

If you can't find it, you lose all your progress. Have you ever watched Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?

It wouldnt be drop traded, just dropped, claim more, then pick back up.

And how can you not find them, its not like they change or get completely covered up. If you trade them like this does, you can still lose all your progress if a random comes or soemthing. Im just saying dropping them and picking them up would be a lot fatser, and you would have backups if you didnt find it the first time of course. Just not many people would be able to use this script because not many ppl have 2 comps or a vm.

If you can't do 2 then use LAME or essminer/rcer/mager.

No matter how good you are at MS finding, there will always be some chance of missing it. Even if that chance is .0000000001%, that means you will still lose everything eventually, unless you bank(in which case you won't be able to claim more) or trade.

Now i have been waiting to see something like this for a long time, i suggested a few months back/ wella sked if anyone could make a auto air runner, as in yo have an air crafter , then you have the mule come and give the crafter ess and take the runes, this way your charachter can train RC faster than having to walk backwards and forwards, this script would allow the development of that ;)

I think a good idea for people without two computers: Have a huge army of and just have a script log in and claim on all of them then you can just trade to a mule. Now of course you would have to have a large enough army to where they wouldn't log in but once every 30 minutes.

first guy bombed, but the other guy did ok. Now working on a rune pawner, that sells back the runes….so far mad 200k of it just over a few hours….more to follow.

Any proggies out there?
Also I may release a solo rune abuser that attempts to drop and grab more.

Hey lefamaster, wouldn't it be alot more proftable if you would just sell the runes to real players instead of shops, that makes like 4 times more money. :)

are there any real players left in RS? Looking at the numbers this morning after the update and like only 300 people in each world!
How much would 10k mind and 10k airs be worth these days, cuz i am pulling that in one night 12 hour runs. Currently have 10 mules and 50 abusers.

Airs and minds sell for 15-20gp each to players… just go to world 2 FEB or forums.

hmmm well I don't know what I was doing wrong but I ended up getting 200 airs and 0 minds in 6 hours :D lol

Also rkrox, you might have minds in bank, and that's why the tutor is only giving you air runes and no mind runes.. Just a guess :P

well may have had them on 1 or 2 people but not all 20 of them and I want to know why it went so slow. The abuser went so slow it wasnt funny. it basically did nothing for 5 mins then I think it started looking for the mage and when it eventually found it it took another long while to trade. Also if I already had the mule logged in before the abuser the abuser would trade the mule straight away even tho he had no runes. But very great idea and i'm sure it's a great script I just set it up wrong or something. You use one on a VM right? and the other on host?. I was running the Abuser on VM and mule on host.

an idea for your next script - how about one character that mines iron for example, trades it to the other character who then banks it and walks back while the first character continues to mine?
