Just to completely kill luring, jagex added a ditch you have to jump across to get into the wildy.

opinion: I think its stupid.

they said in update just north of the ditch there is still a safe zone so you dont need to worry about hopping back over it to get away.

Wow u can tell jagex hires 10 year old programmers. Stupid idea yet the developers are graphically changelled as well as ideas.

I think the Ditch isent that bad because if pro lurers think propley maby you can use this Wilderness Ditch as an advantage ive thought of a couple already but im not going to say :)

Lol, the most retarded update after making ess pure and unpure and making rare items untradable. Really, it's a wonder jagex hasn't lost all its pkers mages and merchanters yet (a majority of players).

It's great.
1. Our bots can't walk into wild anymore
2. Luring is like scamming, if you lure, you can/will get banned by JageX.

I think this is good for autoing, for the reasons Wizzup said, but also we can use some sort of Radial Walk to walk alongside the ditch

rofl. you're all just saying this is stupid because you can no longer lure. In fact this is a very effective idea, annoying but it does the job Jagex wants it too therefore not making it stupid

Yeah… Yakman stole my idea! I was thinking about walking alongside it like make a beginers script to walk from edgy to varrock… :p

But do you know what was sooo funny? a lvl 3 with a crap name (who I reported) was north of the ditch and you could tell that he was a chaos crafter that logged out in the chaos temple then was going to bank :p

I am not a member so I do not know how choas crafting is like. But do you think this ditch will actually help (real) pkers??? I mean for lures, it is bad, but personally I fell that luring is a MAJOR SCAM and therefore this is one of the most effective way to solve the whole problem.

However, I rarely pk and to be honest, I have not killed more than 50 real players in wildy and I have been playing for a year or so.

techincally we steal from jagex, but that wealth is being created by their program, if they feel they are running low on RS2 Gold, they could just spawn some more
all in all, us stealing from jagex doesnt cause them much loss, (only we might get in the way of legit players)

@yakman, I understand that but all in all, both forms are against Jagex rules because you are either "stealing from jagex" like you said, or stealing from legit players, so either way, your breaking a rule.

@rxpunk yes its a good solution for the problem and may not seem stupid to jagex, but I did title my opinion as "opinion" and it still remains as stupid to ME. :D

NOTE: Im not even a lurer, I just think it teaches kids a good lesson in life :(

.. I hate jagex.. Why do they always have to come up with some kinda homo crap that ruins something? If someone gets lured, its their own stupidity… But after u get lured, it wont most likely happen to u again (unless u are very stupid).. This game just keeps on getting stupider every day.. Whats next? Flying dwarfs with laser guns? (I assume its the next "awesome" quest they come up with).. They already managed to ruin holiday events by making the items untradeable and with those childish gay minigames..

Now, after RS2 wildy is even more fucked up, they could bring RSC back.. The macroers shouldnt be a reason not to (at RSC there was loads of macroers, after RSC was shut down.. look at RS2?).. Because for each f2p server about 20-30% of online people are macroers anyway.. I miss the good old RSC.. No ditches, no safing, 3 round system, mages and rangers sucked, you could use def pures for fighting.. List goes on..
