Yeah, I have seen other people in the world of buying/selling gp saying that it could be a JMod set up to just banhammer all the people RWT'ing through them. So I'm steering clear of these really cheap GP sales for the moment.

I might buy some from my old selling (currently .39/m) just to give me the extra help in getting max cape

Could some one tell me a little bit about player auctions? I have heard its the safest way to buy gp and stuff, but what makes it safer then places like sythe?

Edit: Like I understand how it works, but couldn't the same things happen? Say like I pay for some gold, I get the gold, but then I tell player auctions I never received it? Or vice versa with the seller scamming the buyer?

Damn, I've just looked into this at Sythe.

And it is most likely duped money.. Considering this is going about 200B+ right now I think that Jagex might actually do something. This guy also knows the dupe, pretty good friend of mine and 700+ Vouches at Sythe.

All bulk sellers are buying off him and selling for ~0.45 which is quite a nice profit margin. But they are all purchasing duped gold and re-selling it to their customers which means Jagex could easily backtrack these people if they wanted. Jagex has deleted banks of certain big RWT'ers in the past.

I would be careful with buying from those people as it is almost certainly duped money.

Just.. knowing that Jagex are money hungry I don't think they would let someone make 100.000$ in a few days off their game.
