Ok so I logged in to my computer today to find that some websites (i.e. hotmail.com and others) would not display properly. Like I would type them into the adress bar and they would load for a second or 2 and then the page would go completely blank. Ive googled solutions and I havent had one work yet so any suggestions to solve the problem would be appreciated. If you need anymore info from me then please let me know.
Currently I am using Internet explorer and have Norton as antivirus. I am going out shortly so I will not be able to respond for a while.
Your turn :)

Try it on firefox.
Ive noticed the same thing. When I switch browsers things work here but not there. Its really weird. Also hotmail only. It has to be them or something.
Perhaps restarting the computer?

Yea I have restarted it and nothing happened. I will try to shut it down and re boot when I get home. I have never used any other browser so it cannot be the switch. If worst comes to worst then i will make the switch.

The switch is probably your best option after ^.
Hope it gets fixed :)

You should try Firefox or Google Chrome! :) They're great browsers. I use Chrome mostly, I luv it.
And I think that Nezman was trying to say that switching browsers could fix the problem, but you might find another problem on that browser. Not that the original problem was caused by you switching

Well it seems to work now. I am using google chrome instead and it is displaying everything. Still open to suggestions and reasons why IE is not displaying some websites.

Would the website just come up as blank white page? I had the same issue. Using Firefox now though.

If you use Facebook, you would see the thousands of IE memes. Everyone knows its not as well built as Firefox and chrome. Browsing speed is usually improved as well. I remember having an issue similar to yours, where images wouldn't load properly, and almost all pages would appear distorted. Just keep your browsers up to date, and it should be fine.

@Footy and Vaporak
Well everything is updated but the issue I was having was like vaporak said. Nothing would appear or it would appear for a split second then do a refresh type activity and then just appear completely blank. it was working fine the last few days so Idk what happened.

Its fine lol. Just looking for a possible fix or a reason for it happening. Google chrome is ripping for me so no issues.
