Hello,

I've seen a few threads on this issue, but they are all for OS running windows. As the title says, I'm currently having a fairly common problem, but the usual solutions can't be applied on Linux, so here I am. Here is the message I get on a script that works beautifully well on other machines (my first script so of course I'm going to find it sound better than it is).

SRL Compiled in 5 msec
Loading SMART: [url]http://world29.runescape.com/f7536512527696886629[/url]
It has been 3 minutes and Runescape is not yet ready... Terminating.

Any idea?

ah what versions of smart do you have?
also what versions of Java do you have?
edit : hm im not sure about smart and linux

I would be using SMART 7.2 and the java version is 6. I'll try with java 7 to see how it goes.

EDIT: In case someone wonders, of course I have Wine =).

Not sure if I have to ask, but are you using the Windows Java? :p

Oh my… I didn't even think about that. Would that be stopping SMART from opening though? I'll certainly try adding windows java and come back with more information. Currently, I'm still doing the test with java 7 (had to reinstall wine so it's taking a bit).

EDIT: The obvious solution worked. After installing windows java, it works like a charm. Thank you for thinking about that, Sex. Everyone can throw eggs at it from not thinking about that, haha.
