Wtf is this? it happened automatically with no warning what so ever. Tried resetting it and everything. Anyone else had this?

Pftt. Jagex can just remove uptext easily at any time.. There's lots of things they can actually do to down colour bots.

It was Powerbot's failing. The version I use does it for some stupid reason. Close this please.

As you mentioned before, Paris and maybe someone else added it in as a joke. It isn't actually RS's doing.

This would make it quite a challenge, if RS was Black And white. lawl

Powerbot could just be using black and white to lower resource usage, or they could be doing this so people think color botting is done for, therefor getting users to use their bot.. Who knows….

rofl, i hope they some how did a search though all of the texts people have typed "why is my screen black and white" then just ban them for using a shitty bot.

Could be one way of getting rid of bots but maybe we can find a way around..

Was a glitch by RSBot. And even if it actually happened to Runescape itself, it would obviously be a glitch.

Just restart the client… It fixes it. It was a joke, apparently a lot of ppl on PB thought nuke was today…

as everyone else stated it was a joke. A quick fix is to change the date of your computer calender to the 2nd of August :)

Yeah I noticed this too, but I also noticed they inverted the colour for the tabs etc, so it's just that colour theme leaking into the game client itself. >.<

It happened to me, but it said 'Vintage something' at the top as a joke :p

well you said something about it in chat… so you could be targeted by jagex quite quickly.

Its powerbot its called "vintage mode".

#2: He didn't even try simba or smart to realise this isn't happening to simba.
#3: Gray2BGR is a standard function avaliable to a lot of libraries that we can use, such as opencv , so this can be fixed within 30seconds even if its applied to the real rs.
