getting tracked

Hey guys , just wondering jagex or i think it was jagex sent me an eamail which went to my junk saying their gonna track my account and fine me if i am caught botting . I am wondering if that has happenedfor you guys or it was some one trying to phish me .

98% it was a phisher. Just delete it.

google: 'runescape email' and the first link should send you to the official runescape email policy & what to look out for from phishers. Agree with poster above, probably a phisher email.

Definitely! I don't think I have been on the RiD website for over 2 years, I definitely haven't used their bots ever.
Nice way to never mention the customers name or account.
Also double checked my account standing and I'm 100% green in all aspects so… Nice phish!

I strongly recommend that if anyone receives an email similar to this they delete it immediately, Jagex will never warn you of an infraction and will certainly never check with you whether or not you were using botting software.

Any email that gives you a link to login to confirm something about runescape/WoW/Diablo will always be phishing.

I always get those, just ignore em… Just took this screenshot of my junk folder.
