Hello, I'm coming here from RiD. I would love too use simba on my main account, but what some people said at RiD about simba makes me scared. I have botted 1500 hours with RiD and got 6 99's and close to 8. I don't want to loose that. Someone told at RiD simba will get you banned ect…. but I want to try it out. Thanks for the help.

Definitely not going to get you banned some people here have botted max accounts + some of them have 200m in certain skills. Simba/SRL will not get you banned, it is probably one of the safest bots you could ever use.

Now most of the people who tell other users that "Simba will get you banned" are mostly regular users, most of which don't have much knowledge about different bots or how the detection system works.
While bans are possible with Simba (Basically if you're reported too many times and get unlucky and have your account investigated by a J Mod, then you'd have to worry), they are lower than any injection bots out there.
People similar to myself (Being someone who has botted over 3150 hours, 3000 of which was on my main, earning 12 99's without a macro ban(that's just RiD. I've botted another ~2500-3000 hours with injection/reflection, with numerous bans) on RiD share the clingyness to their bots because they have used it enough to feel confident with its level of safety and ban rate (which is literally nonexistant since before the last Bot Nuke, even out of suicide botters and users whom were reported, even by player mods).
I personally know of a minimum of 6 bans than happened using privately written Simba scripts (Made by Smurg and someone else I can't remember). 5 of which were on accounts doing under 8 hours a day. All of these bans have happened within the last few months. When I asked for explaination from YoHoJo, he told me that he had to have been reported, and that's why he was banned. On all 5 accounts?? Even so, if a bot is truly undetectable and safe from ban, then getting reported shouldn't matter whatsoever.
Idk, that's just my 2 cents, take it for what you want.

Why is it people think privately written scripts makes them harder to detect? If the script is using bad methods, eg. Coord clicking, its still more likely to get you banned than a well written public script.
Sometimes private scripts are actually worse, because people assume since masses of people aren't using it, they can skimp on the anti-ban and such, which is the opposite of true.
I've been botting on two different accounts pretty much all day for the past 3+ months and nothing. Most of it is the quality of the script, I know for a fact that while using MSI's high-alcher one of my accounts was reported by about 4 people because I saw it happen. To date no ban has happened on that account, not even a rollback or infraction, etc.
As a side note, and its nothing against you Trent!, but your listing of hours botted just makes you come across as an arrogant RiD user who likes to boast about the total time they've spent auoting. We don't really care about total hours here, just about writing good scripts and learning new techniques. If you really want to compare hours go look at the SRL stats page… Single accounts have quite a bit of time, but very few people mention it because they don't pay for botting by the hour, so there is no need to keep track.
Also, you mention 5 accounts that you know got banned, but don't say whether or not they were different people who owned them. If it was one person, chances are they were running an army. If even one got reported, Jagex could flag the IP, monitor the other accounts for similar tasks, and bam. Ban hammer all of them. Bans are possible with everything, including RiD, Simba, powerbot, etc. It doesn't matter.

Stick to Simba, a huge variety of free scripts & actually you could learn to make scripts as well.

But tbh, 37 bans in 4 years with thousands of botters, over 100,000 registered members in 2 years, and with most of our users being suicide botters or Guideline breakers (there are icons next to their name on their posts that indicate who these users are) that's not bad at all, and extremely low imo.

That amount of bans isn't bad at all, but to be honest I find the concept of "guidelines" for something that breaks the rules to be rather ironic. I'm also curious as to what these guidelines are, since I've seen posts about them several times, but never actually read them myself, I may have to look into that.
I also wasn't saying RiD gets just as many bans as everyone else, merely saying that it is possible, and no script/bot is immune from that.
As for digging through scripts… That one I'm going to not really give to you. There are plenty of scripts with mountains of feedback to see if they work properly or not. I don't know how you could honestly just run a script on any account without doing a little research. I also believe that a little looking is well worth it in order to get stuff for, well, free. Not to mention if you do know how to code you can customize anything on the site to fit your needs.
You really don't have to do much digging either, usually the best/most popular scripts are right at the top of their prospective forum because they are used more, and therefore get more feedback.

Let me stop you there quick. Believe it or not, this is the forum for SRL. Posting one's rankings from SRL Stats is actually encouraged here. Especially in the sense that Jaga had been told, on RiD, that Simba is infact unsafe. There's is actually nothing wrong, at all, with me posting my rankings here as evidence.
Whether or not your reason for posting running time figures is for a just cause, don't try to justify your reasoning based on mine; my post was in the right place, at the right time, for the right cause.

Well, when I asked YoHoJo, he did say that both of the scripters for those scripters were very talented. I'd think that a talented scripter would put a decent amount of antiban into a script, especially if they are being paid for it.
From: Kyle Undefined
You can't quantify someone getting banned with a goldfarming account with mains/stakers/etc accounts getting banned. It's totally different.Trents: My gold supplier used Mat's script and got banned
Trents: Same guy who got banned 5 times from the unf pot bot lol
Well that's what he gets for goldfarming, and I honestly don't feel sorry for him. If he were to auto smart and correctly, it wouldn't have happened.Trents: He said SRL fucked up a lot of randoms
YoHoJo: If it does, it logs out
Trents: Idk, he just said it failed them
He needs to learn how to setup SRL and his RS settings correctly. All of the working randoms that we have work perfectly for me, every time.Trents: Is that Optimus could include a method for tracking mouse movements and mouse positions at all times, or something along those lines
Trents: Which would just mean you'd just have to improve the quality of the Mouse movement algorithms
Do you know how much data that will take? The amount would be huge, and would actually hurt the system. Imagine, storing all of that data in real time while thousands of players are online. I hightly doubt that.
Our algorithms are fine, and will only get better. If you look at our source, you'll see that we move pretty human like. We don't just move from point a to b, we "blow" the mouse from point a to b. Take a look at the algorithm, it's pretty awesome.
Also, we have new functions that greatly change the mouse movements. Flight is one of the leaders in that, his functions are awesome.Trents: RiD doesn't really have to worry about that kind of update, if it does end up being true
Trents: 3 different mouse options + a billion possible unique playing styles for each bot
Any client will have to worry about it if it's true, and don't try to deny it. How do you know there is a "billion possible unique" styles for each bot? Have you seen the source? Have you seen how it works? Or are you just repeating one of the headlines used to draw people in? That statement is used in every ad for RiD I've seen. Any video about it, any post about it, even the RiD site promotes it. So until I see it with my own eyes, I'm calling that bluff.Trents: We've had J Mods come up to some of our top botters
Trents: and talk to them, asking if they were botting, etc
Trents: while they were botting, of course
Trents: nothing ever happened to them, ban wise
Trents: Did you ever read about how the Unique Styles work?
Trents: http://www.robotzindisguise.com/forum/showthread.php?707-Unique-Styles
Trents: Shows why, even if you get 1000 of RiD bots running at the same time, the movements are different and have different patterns and habits compared to the rest of the users running the same bot
I've autoed next to many J Mods and P Mods with my main. Still nothing has happened to it. What exactly is your point? None of the accounts I've owned has ever been banned for autoing, using nothing but SCAR and Simba, for years.
Also, your link doesn't really prove much. Take this snip for example:
instead of coding one way to perform each stage like normal bots, we code many ways of performing each stage then piece them together to produce a unique training style.
So he has coded over a billion ways to piece each stage together? Or is he just randomly piecing stages together? Either way, he has to hard code something, and it WILL get repeated and over used.Trents: If you get reported, they look at mouse movements
Trents: And if Optimus includes a feature to constantly track the mouse, that could be very changing for the botting community
Trents: Meaning they are focusing on it like never before
YoHoJo: Doubt it man, I hardly doubt they can catch us based on mousemovements…
Trents: They do lol
Trents: Trust me lol
YoHoJo: No good bot uses mouse movements stupid enough to contain any noticeable patterns
Trents: I know people very very close to the ICU @ Jagex
Trents: They do use mouse movements
YoHoJo: There is so much randmness build into mouse movements
Trents: and not just like, patterns from same movement
YoHoJo: They can't find a pattern and detect
Trents: but like, they look at the way the mouse moves
Trents: and they can see if it's 'too perfect'
YoHoJo: We got funcs that mess up, miss objects, move back to them, etc
Trents: yeah, I'm not just talking about like aiming and stuff
Trents: but like, the actual line of the path
Trents: imagine graphing the exactly movement of the mouse from one point to another
YoHoJo: I said earlier, line has so much randomness build in, what are they going to see
Trents: the exact**
YoHoJo: They will not be able to differenciate a bot's mouose movments from a huamans, if they are looking at any decenty made bot
Trents: They do it all the time lol
Trents: Part of the detection system is based on movements
Trents: Lemme find this app
Trents: basically draws on a white thing with however you move your mouse
YoHoJo: yah you can do w/ paint too :p
Trents: I mean like playing RS
Trents: Humans move the mouse in such a chaotic, unpredictable way
Trents: it's not like a direct path
Who says they look at mouse movements? Your "sources"? I've been reported many times, and haven't been banned or warned.
I know for a fact they don't focus on mouse movements, want to know how? I made a test account, level 3. I wrote a script to move between two points, and click on exact pixels. I ran it over night in a populated world. First hour or so I watched it, and people were saying "Ohhh a botter, reported!". I was never banned nor warned, and I can still login to that account today.
You're right, Simba doesn't use a direct path between the points. There is a start and end node, and many, randomly generated nodes between them that get produced. The mouse line is then calculated with speed, randomness, and splines to create the human movement.
All you have to do is take a look at our source, like I stated before.Trents: Idk, I've never seen any movements from any Simba bots that impressed me
YoHoJo: They don't need to impress you, they just need to not get you banned, and they dont.
Trents: Well, a lot of that is luck
Trents: You've even said, when my friend had his bans, that he must have been reported
YoHoJo: http://puu.sh/I7fG this much luck?
YoHoJo is right, they're not designed to impress your panties off. They are designed to work, and work well. Which they have been, for OVER seven years.
The stats that YoHoJo posted is only a small percentage, iirc, we did a stats reset awhile ago. Imagine the numbers if we hadn't of done that, far greater than what they are now.Trents: You'll notice that a lot of those have usernames that obviously point at goldfarming
Trents: meaning multiple accounts at once
Trents: meaning your time builds up a lot faster
YoHoJo: Um so? Multiple accounts still means more bots runnig?
Trents: lol, you don't get it
Trents: I used to run a bot farm
Trents: So I get it
Trents: You can run 100 accounts goldfarming
Trents: I did it with 12
Trents: I ran the bot combined to over 1500 hours
Trents: Only about half or so of my accounts were banned
Trents: Just because the other half didn't get banned, doesn't mean that the script was undetectable
Trents: Just means that I got lucky
Trents: Jagex doesn't ban right away, they wait until they gather at least 80% evidence
Trents: it's more impressive to bot massive amounts on a single account, than little amounts spread across tons of bots
And RiD doesn't have goldfarming users? I think you're trying to grasp at any straw you can to try and prove a point that you can't.
So you're saying that the only reason why the stats are so high is because they're running so many accounts? If you knew anything about goldfarming, you'd know they run many accounts all at once. They will do anything to maximize their return, and if running 100 accounts 24/7 is the answer, they will do it.
You talk about being lucky as if it only pertains to Simba scripts, when it very much pertains to RiD and any client out there. So you're saying that you are just lucky with your main while using RiD and not getting banned then, since you can't really prove it's RiD that's keeping you from not getting banned, just luck. Same goes to anyone who autos, no matter what the client is. Not getting banned is just luck, and you just proved it.Trents: Lilcmp1, who also bots with simba for goldfarming last I checked, has used RiD for over 600,000 minutes, only on 3-4 accounts
Trents: That's just one user
600K minutes? Aww that's cute. I wish you could pull up stats with larger numbers, like you know, 32 MILLION MINUTES of use. Oh, that would be Narcles script, which is the #1 goldfarmed script here. http://stats.villavu.com/script/18 And that has MANY users, with MANY accounts, GOLDFARMING on a very POPULAR and WIDELY used script. Your puny stats mean nothing.Trents: I'm not saying that people aren't dissatisfied with Simba
Trents: I'd definitely use Simba over any injection bot
YoHoJo: You're saying RiD is better, like you alawys do, but there is no way to qunaitfy it.
Trents: I just would never trust my main on it
Trents: Simba has had X bans since bot nuke, I know it's a minimum of 6, cause I know the guy, so there has to be more
I trust every account that I own with Simba, and I have, for many years. That includes SCAR too. So because you know of 6 accounts being banned, from a goldfarmer, that MUST mean there are more out there right? Come on dude, you're still grasping for straws.Trents: There's been 37 bans with RiD since 2008
37 bans, that you know of. How many people get banned without reporting it? Probably a lot. Same applies here, but RiD isn't some godly program that you try to talk it to be. It's a very well written program, but still succumbs to everything any other client does.Trents: We had about 9-10 or so bans right before Bot nuke
Trents: J Mod sweeps against mining bots, RiD got caught in the crossfire
Trents: All of them were botting 10-20+ hours a day tho
So is 10-20+ hours a day the magic number to get banned with while using RiD? That's strange, because there are many, many, many (and so forth) people who use Simba scripts the same length of time if not longer and are never banned.
Back when Harry had his Fight Cave script, I autoed it for two whole weeks without stopping on my main. I was on vacation, when I got back it had stopped, but only because of a stupid Windows update. If you know anything about Fight Caves, Harry's script is the reason why Jagex took action there. So many people were abusing that script and that's why it's one of the highest spots that can result in a ban.
tl;dr I'm not dissing RiD in particular, I'm dissing you. I can't stand people who go around talking as if one thing is "so much better" than something else when they're pretty much equal. I like RiD, I've never used it, but the guy has done some great work for being by himself. It's people like you who I don't like.
From: Trent!
I'm not sure if I said it in this post, but I have in the past: Bans do not happen immediately, nor do they happen shortly after being reported. It can take weeks to months for reports to be processed and bans to be handed out. Also, like I've said elsewhere, there's a difference between being reported… and being reported and investigated. Reports just activate most of the simpler macro detection methods. If the account for some reason sets off some flags, your chances of getting manually investigated by a J Mod increases. Lately Jagex has been pretty strange and haven't been doing as many manual investigations. It seems like they are just expecting the automated system to do it. This doesn't mean that Jagex never checks, so I wouldn't take that as a greenlight to go botting like crazy.
From: Trent!
I used to run a Sorc garden bot farm right after free trade came out, and was able to run over 8 accounts 20+ hours a day (sometimes even 50+ hour proggies) without even so much as a temp ban or rollback. It wasn't until I'd had the operation going for 5-6 months before Jagex started to pick off my accounts one by one. I even watched some of my accounts get banned right in front of my eyes. I still have about half of the bot army I had after I stopped farming due to the difficulty of replacing the accounts.
From: Trent!
Also, I didn't just mention my hours used with RiD, I mentioned my hours from other bots too, and the main purpose of doing so was the demonstrate that I have experience with a wide variety of bots, and that I have the experience with different bots, and macro bans in order to make a credible statement on the OP. If you took it as "boasting" or "arrogance" then you misinterpreted and should reexamine your view.
From: Trent!
Also, I have glanced at the trackers in the past, many of those names are obvious that it's a Chinese goldfarmer who owns the account, and it's most likely that they are running many accounts at once. I honestly don't care that much if someone has botted 1000 hours if those were split between 10-20 accounts, because that's not really that impressive in my eyes. I get mostly impressed by massive amounts of bot time clocked on single accounts, because after all, botting is against the rules, and I find it impressive to be able to dodge Jagex's bullet for massive amounts of botting time on that single accont.
From: Trent!
It was a single person who owned the accounts, and he was a goldfarmer. If what you are saying is true, then why would they not ban every single account doing the same thing? He had 8 accounts doing the same thing, and 5 of them were banned. Why not all 8? Also, I've had many many bans on the same IP as my main, which I bot with RiD while I ran the farms, and my main was never touched, despite sharing the IP of many goldfarming accounts.
From: Trent!
And at your last sentence, sure, there have been bans with RiD since it reached its current quality in August of 2008. However, all 37 of these bans happened to users who were proven to have broken the Guidelines that are posted on their site. The Guidelines are basically written to guide you to bot the same way a human would play. It still stands to this day that there hasn't been a single ban of any RiD user following the Guidelines, in over 4 years. There have been times in the past where a RiD user has tried to claim that they got banned using RiD, and RiD was able to gather enough information that proved that all of the accounts that they ever used RiD on were still unbanned. He even got so pissed at someone who was lying about it that he actually posted 3 of their RS usernames on the forums, and almost posted his IP because the kid was still acting like a dick. We have ways to ween out fakers and liars, and we take the real incidences very seriously.
But tbh, 37 bans in 4 years with thousands of botters, over 100,000 registered members in 2 years, and with most of our users being suicide botters or Guideline breakers (there are icons next to their name on their posts that indicate who these users are) that's not bad at all, and extremely low imo.

From: Trent!
Here's the quote on the site to explain in more detail:
"The first time someone uses any RiD bot, we create random style seeds (which are long 10-14 digit numbers, so they are different for each person) and store them in our database. In addition to these styles, we also create and store around 10 randomly generated attributes representing factors like reaction speed and patience, etc which also make a difference to your training. The style seeds however make a more significant difference. We split training methods into different stages… instead of coding one way to perform each stage like normal bots, we code many ways of performing each stage then piece them together to produce a unique training style.
This matches human behaviour, from study human players have been found to settle on a unique training style and stick with it.
We use style seeds to control things from your favorite bone pile to use in the MTA Graveyard, to the preferred part of an object you like click on (the top, near the bottom, no preference etc), preferred dropping style, the way you time and coordinate your clicks/movements, favorite distraction when concentration levels drop, and infact every part of your training session that involves a decision is influenced by your style seed. "
From: Trent!
I've seen a ton of people say that Simba does the same thing… but it's not just like clicking randomly instead of the same spot, or "randomizing" different variables.
From: Trent!
It's making each user's bot have a custom mouse movement algorithm for each different kind of action their bot is performing. It's making it so that even if you had 1000 accounts using the same RiD bot, and Jagex were to look at every single one for days, even weeks, they wouldn't be able to see enough similarities between the 1000 accounts to conclude that they are all using the same bot.
Again, all of what I just explained is the reason why RiD spends hundreds a month for servers, because it's necessary to have the bots work in the way they do, and to keep the code safe from Jagex's hands. And this also means that if RiD wants to keep his customers, he has to continually meet their expectations and provide bot updates. There are many premium bot sites where people pay for a script, and then it's either poorly managed and has bugs, or doesn't work at all, and the scripter still profits while all of his users are fucked over. I've even seen scripters release a script, take all these payments, and then move onto other projects and discontinue or give up on the old project, and all those paying customers are fucked.
Oh, and it also makes it so that the bots are impossible to crack and steal. That's just a fun bonus I guess.

Like he said, following the Guidelines, it is theoretically banproof, and there hasn't been anything that has disproven the theory in the past 4 years. The theory continues that if you continually and excessively break the Guidelines, then you are making yourself more vulnerable and open to a ban. Even then, statistically, breaking Guidelines still has an extremely low ban rate.

EDIT: Again, I'm not trying to bash Simba. You'll see me recommend it to anyone over any injection bot, and to anyone looking for a free bot with a low ban rate. Again, I'm not saying that Simba will for sure get you banned, the most I'm saying is that there's a possibility, and that it does happen sometimes, even if it's very seldom.

You do realize that it's not RiD who's saying anything to keep the customers around? The community and users are the ones who say the kind of shit that OP mentioned. RiD himself likes to lurk more than anything, and only seldomly pops in to make a joke or two. He especially doesn't like to publicly compare between bots, and I've even seen him tell his mods to remove or edit lines in certain posts they are preparing to make them "more friendly towards other bot sites."
Also, the only reason why it charges for credits instead of buying it once and that's it, is because RiD has to pay hundreds of dollars a month to support the servers that host all the code and make constant connections between the thousands of members who use RiD. Basically, the bot client acts as the arms, hands, mouth, and eyes of the bot, and the servers (costing hundreds a month) act as the brain. The "eyes" of the client views the screen, sends back specific information back to the "brain" and the server interprets the information, and then sends back commands to the arms/hands/mouth of the bot to complete an action. Basically, every single time your RiD bot moves the mouse, clicks, talks, etc, the bot has to communicate with the server for its instructions to complete said action. This method is called "Blackbox Security," which is used to keep all of the source code of the bot stored safely on the servers so that nobody, not even Jagex, can analyze the code to understand how the bot works enough to try to manually develop detection systems against it. This also gives RiD the ability to add something called "Unique Styles" meaning that every single user's bot acts completely different.
I've seen a ton of people say that Simba does the same thing… but it's not just like clicking randomly instead of the same spot, or "randomizing" different variables.
