I'm talking about my script, kbClayBanker (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73414) which was extremely popular in its time, ~4000 downloads lifetime, ~900 downloads current version.

Should I attempt a revival? The reason the script was made was because the price of clay had reached ~400+ gp, and I thought it would be possible for everyone to make a killing off of the script–and they did.

The price of clay is now ~100gp. We did this guys, we did it. We single-handedly crashed the price of an item.

I pulled support for the script after clay dropped below ~150gp because I thought that if it's efficiency dropped 50-75%, it would no longer become the prime script for F2P moneymaking.

However, I've been becoming inactive lately and need to get off my ass.

I've learned a lot since I wrote that script and if I did revive it, I could certainly add in many more features to make it even better than it already is (or was).

An interesting note, even though I pulled support for the script some time ago, the only thing that has been able to break it was the recent Simba update (999 I believe?) because it has changed the way SMART loads.

Please vote and post.

No reason why you shouldn't, there are various other clay miners on other bots, and one included in msi i believe, make some fun out of trying to beat them :)

I got about 5m from your kbclaybanker script.
The only wierd thing about it was when it would walk to the cooking guild and rest and never leave. And I was always wondering why it walked to the varrock bank rather than edgeville..
It had awesome mining and banking. I love(d) this script.

No reason why you shouldn't, there are various other clay miners on other bots, and one included in msi i believe, make some fun out of trying to beat them :)

I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to add Edgeville banking, and the Cooking Guild thing was because it saw the bank icon.

Hmm… interesting… maybe you should have just used the banking thing as a failsafe and then see if the bank booth was in range? And with draynor… its just a simple SPS path.. I could do it if you can't.

I would say not, the price of clay is still horribly low and with a bot nuke for injection coming right around the corner; we can expect the price of clay to actually rise.

Just keep it for yourself for now (in my opinion) and if ever the price is high enough you feel the public should be allowed to share go for it. (I would recommend 300+)

I suggest releasing it and once the injection bot nuke happens again then make it private I never did run this script…. I'm not really into mining for money (not the best) although i do have a level 3 with like 80 mining ;) plus. However I'm not voting because it is 100% your choice and I hate when people tell me what to do with my ****(selfs sensored) :p choose wisely it.

Oh and clay got crashed mostly by us but i think the price never really went below 300 until powerbot was back up…. but i might be wrong :p

Script it anyway, apply to members with it if it's decent and release in there. Make a public release if/when price goes to 300+.

I agree with most of that but I love when people tell me what to do with my shit, because I'll never get off my ass and do it myself.

I probably could have applied to Members when then script was in its prime, but not now. Besides, I'm too lazy to apply.

I was getting 3hr+ proggy's and then having to walk it to the bank so itd be back in the loop to go to the clay rocks. I would easily get 6hr proggys with a little babysitting- and that was nothing a few functions to recognize location wouldn't fix.
If it was released with 1 function antileached that would solve the responsibility issue as the only people who overuse these scripts and crash prices into negatives are the leechers. Yes, I myself was once a leecher and have grown from that. Just a simple anti leech and the public will be a fine habitat for the script.
I strongly recommend applying to SRL members with this script once it is perfected.

So that if anyone wants to use the script, they will need to create a repeating loop with the appropriate procedures. Home had a ranging guild script like that, check it out.

Bring it out, it's not like it would be the only one out there that would cause any further price crashing..

or when price goes up a bit ( my opinion it will takes a while to go up really with other bots )

Believe it or not, but SRL has a very low impact on prices, it's more likely the Injection scripts that crashed it.

It would be a nice exercise, heck more scripts the better I always say :). Doesn't matter how useless they are
