Strange … Perhaps he is putting this act on for purpose?

He just looks sad? is that what you are pointing out?

He never looked happy in any of his pictures, in the back of my head I think he wanted to kill himself that day as well but somewhere he stopped that from happening.

He looks 'mentally' ill to me..
Also I don't think his mission was to kill innocent people and than kill himself, cause some articles stated that he mentioned that he was the real joker or something like that :X

There is no substitute, if something is wrong mentally, you will do it again, if nothing is wrong with you, you are sick and you will do it again, he should go away for life whether he is sick or retarded.

Half are saying he is insane, half say its an act.
I personally think he may be a few nuts short.

How come it has to be about race and not the victims? And for the record what he did is an act of terrorism against civilians, he is a thug, and he is probably mentally ill. None of that excuses him from what he did though. He still deserves to die.

Haha this is soo true.. If he's arab, they come to a conclusion that he's a terrorist. If he's black then he's a thug. But since he's white, they come out with the conclusion of him being mentally I'll since they want to keep the white people reputation at a good point. I bet if he was Mexican, they would have said he was part of a Mexican cartel.

What i was trying to say is: he's white so I'm 100% sure that the judge and all these ppl involved in the court are going to make him "mentally Ill" because most of the time when other races do something bad, they make a big deal and try to make the whole race look bad. In other words, they don't want the white race to look bad in this case.

Western society as a whole is very good at stereo-typing people. i.e, muslim - terrorist, african-american - gangster.

But they/we never make ourselves look bad. Granted, the villain in films is occasionally caucasian. But 99% of the time in a film that comes out of the US/UK/Australia the hero is caucasian. We like to promote ourselves and put other races in a box (often negative). That's what the picture is trying to say, not that this man should be the 'poster-boy' for white people.

Sure, racism still exists but not even near the extent people like you and others believe. It is actually statements like this that keep the misinformed believing in racism. Every race on earth believes it is superior to the other. That is just how the world works. If you look up mass murders, workplace shootings, and school shootings committed by Caucasians in the past 50 years much, much less than 100% of them were found mentally incompetent.

The media loves to highlight stories where "the white people" do harm to some minorities but how come you don't hear nearly as much about when a minority does something to "the white people". Read about this college couple who was brutally murdered by four black people (LINK) and tell me why that wasn't all over the national news? Now tell me if it would have been all over news if it was a black couple and four white people…

Almost all movies attempt to unite the viewers as a group and to unite them against a villain. If you go to Russia, China, or places like that and watch a movie the villain is often times someone from another race. People fear what they do not know, and therefor villains are often intended to be from a different culture that we do not know as well as our own. That isn't racism. What that poster is doing is making the Colorado mass murder about politics and race, when it should be about the victims and getting justice for them and their families.

I'd love to see you suffer from psychosis for a month or two.
Once you recieve proper treatment and come back to normal, you get told what you did when you were ill, and then you get the treatment you just said.

He will be. Whether that be in a prison or a mental insitute. Now that's where things are coming down to. Prisons are obviously harsh, where as mental institutes are more, minimum security type.

Another thing is whether he will get the death penalty or not.
I personally agree with the death penalty but at the same time don't. This is however a whole other subject. My thoughts about this are, would it be better to execute him or life inprisonment? Wouldn't killing him just end it for him, and provide an easy way out, kinda like suicide, or imprisoning him for life would make him suffer more, and I defninitley thing he should.

Thing is, it takes like 10-15 years before they kill him. You don't just recieve death penality and get fried the next week, it takes a decade before they actualy kill you.

If he makes it to a mental institution, he will be on hardcore "medication" for the rest of his life, and never "recover".

Well, when you go around the world.. We're not close to as bad with stereo types as other countries, especially some countries in Africa, the racism there is 1000x the worst you'll see in 'western society'

A lot of places don't make movies, though.. but chinese for example, the white man is usually a villain character in a lot of martial arts videos, the white man comes to take over etc.. also a lot of their videos are based on history with: Japan coming into china or vise versa.. that type of thing

as far as OP goes, the cops look very pissed off and I hope the worst for that orange haired guy
