SRL Archive - Gaming

Just got minecraft, Never played it, watched a few vids of other people playing it. What should I do first? I'm clueless…

Build a house out of mud, stay in it for the night away from the mobs.
Next go outside during day light, chop some trees.. make wood tools/blocks/crafting table etc.
Next mine cobblestone, build nice home.
Find coal, make torches.. fill home with torches.
Make glass using sand, glass is nice for homes.
Repeat but find higher level ores such as iron or diamond.. make better tools.
Make better house.

Im assuming this is on survival mode. Guess Ill get to it! Is there any fun stuff to do in multiplayer?

first off chop down some trees then make a workbench then some tools get some wool of a sheep make a bed hide in n ground till morning :D then go out with your wooden tools and get some resources to make a shelter you can build it all up from there :)
when your happy with the safety of your house go get some cobblestone tools then iron then diamond mine some obsidian make a nether portal.

Join a server and destroy people's houses. Don't forget to put lava on someone when they are mining.
