Hi guys I just touched base with my voice-over artist whos based out in ATL; He does a lot of Natgeo docs, corp style V.O work, etc.


I had him do a V.O for a soon to be advertisement video for SRL.

Please give me your thoughts of the wording, etc; What should be added and or removed.

All credit goes to wiz. I ripped the text from a post he posted just re-worded somethings, and changed the order of what was said. I take no credit for the script text; I'll be editing up a series of RS videos, and Simba script videos and compile a well rounded :60 commerical based off the content I have following with the V.O in the background..

the second VO is better then his first. Although, meh… I could do better(deeper voice ;)

Do you think it would sound better deeper tone? He does a fantastic deep tone voice.

I'll have him speed up SRL; how should Pascal be pronouced?

I like it though. But football, if you can do it better… Come on! Do it!

Pascal is a french name from origin afaik. It is not wrong to pronounce it as he did.

I sent the email over to him asking him to do a deeper verison, having SRL said faster- both SRL, Simba, Villau.com to stand out more then the rest of the words in the V.O

Hehe, I say it at the french way. With both the A's pronounced as ball.

As this is mostly guy driven community (durp) would like a female VO. Would be nice to have the basics in SRL like "In random" and "Player inactive" stuff like that. :)

same… at the start I thought it could possibly be villa-view but later came to my senses.

I'm currently reviewing the new updated VO hang lose I'll post it once I hear it.

I just sent over another email asking to change " Rune-IN-Scape " to be said " Rune-SCAPE"

Also asked for a deeper raspier voice, with a bit of a slur on the end of SRL, and simba.



EDIT: Now all I have to do is get SRL / Simba's Logo - is there anyone who has a the psd file or a hi-res file of the LOGO of SRL?

I'd like to attach this in the end of the video, and if I have the PSD file I'll keep it a bottom corner icon in all the footage. Lastly I still have to compile footage but with Simba being down I don't want to run the quick-patch fix until all scripts / simba is running at 100% then I can start to pick and choose differnt scripts that really put SRL in a real spot light.

You can just print screen and crop the logo. Or just google Simba and get a nice image :)

I thought it was pronouced: Vill-Ah-Vu

He did villa V-U so people hear villa, then VU so it's easier to hear and go to the web address.
