I would be very happy if somebody made me a mining script for mining guild. If I trust you enough i could provide 2006scape account for making the script.

Except, the owners will probably go through the reports and ban the botters.

Creating public scripts for 06scape defeats the purpose of playing on it.

I doubt they will ban bots, they get money from donations. Right? my friends been botting on there for weeks (24/7) and nothing has happened 06Scape is solely about profits.

Report him and make a thread on the forums about it, see what happens.
It will never be like RS where it is obvious that every single person in the guild is botting.

Reported 3 maxed melee accounts and 2 were banned. Any report is taken seriously..

I have seen Mod Jack H ban several ess botters (Didn't catch me, to good for that :P ). The ban them on the spot

Yeah the problem with RSPS botting is the toleration level by the people running the servers. Many people who join private servers want to escape BotScape and they would probably leave and join another RSPS if the server they play on becomes bot infested. Thus RSPS owners take reports more seriously than Jagex does.

i love to bot in runescape private servers.
Some people say that the whole feel of a runescape private server is to play legit, and enjoy runescape the way you did in 2006 (childhood for many players)
But i tend to disagree, at about 2006 i began cheating on runescape; and simply could not play legit again. I realized that runescape was not about getting 100m and bragging to your friends about how long it took; runescape was the ultimate e-penis match for gaining wealth and power under ANY means necessary. It was a game where you had control over the trees, rocks, and resources. But true mastery was shown by having social control over the people and game. take for example glitching, It was a rush because you had to spend tons of time trying to find out a glitch, but if you did; you were able to show it off in world 2 and get hundreds of people to follow you, tasting fame for just a moment. The true excitement of runescape was being better than other people,and gaining that respect however you could. Ive even managed to get myself in glitching videos which are still stand on youtube years later, m. so runescape has always had a tie to something real; accomplishments are respected by other people; and the stories of your achievements can last for years.

I understand most people did play legit, but for those of us who think of 'old school rs' and imagine sythe; that was my reality.
In a world where getting 99 woodcutting was no longer impressive, you had to run a business on sythe to gain the reputation and respect that runescape gets you addicted to. Botting is simply the next tier to making runescape more interesting, and giving you more control; and it has always been there. Botting isnt about whos hurting who, or how much you can mess up the server. At the end of the day i think "i just played runescape for 8 hours and made 4m, what if instead i could just play outside, and have a bot do all the work". At first botting is self medicating; thinking that it is the solution to regaining a life from this addicting mess. But eventually it just becomes this itch. You sit there in class and just kick yourself, knowing that you could be gaining levels and gp while you do math problems.

For me runescape has been the grand playing field for being a cheater. To relive the experience of 2006 is to have social control over a group of people who simply cannot achieve the same as you. Runescape is much, much more than a simple game, those of us who grew up cheating on it will understand the nostalgia of ProjectRs06 botting.
