Any java peoples here?
we could make a java mini-app to do whatever ibot does, then use a delphi plugin to link it into scar (I don't think scar could handle a java plugin, but it could do this: scar -> delphi linker plugin thing -> java plugin)
:D Maybe we could just take it right out of ibot?
Why don't you just switch to ibot then? :P

We did it 10 months ago with UBI. Video of UBI and SCAR, proof of concept.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=wMYXeoBQ8WcWe worked with Cruel and his solutions.
http://cruels.net/cc3.gifWe even got it to work wihtout the Applet being on top!
Using Cruel Client, UBI, SCAR, SRL, we were autoing with the rs client not on top.
Video of Cruel Client and UBI, proof of concept.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgwJwvRwkO0Everything was looking up but we soon hit a wall, our system could not handle more then 2 due to resource usage. All systems were in-efficent.
SRL moved to Moparisthebest. Interest in UBI faded.
I started moving more and more things from SCAR and into UBI. I moved all the mouse functions, text etc. Added a GUI
http://www.impsoft.net/public/pictures/ss2.JPGEventually i moved so many things to the UBI side we decided to make it into a stand alone bot, and called it iBot. We eventually removed UBI sinced it required us to manually update SRL everytime they released. The system was also not noob-friendly.
Cruel Client was never in the distributions for that was even harder to use.
We sorta all split. Cruel focused on his own color-recognition bot and his client, functions. SRL i think went thru multiple owners. We focused on a entirely integrated solution in just java.

ruler

Stands for Universal Bot Interface
"So why don't we do it with SCAR?"
The SRL Devs that did like UBI are no longer here. The support was lost when the site was moved to moparisthebest.com.
The problem with SRL/SCAR is that it is not a open-community. If you ask anything about the inner-working of SCAR you get no answer. You are left with a help document, and example scripts.
Cruels.net
I have recieved more support from cruels.net then any other site. The people on that site are more open about SCAR internals then anyone here. They may not be the "best" scripters but they know the backend that happends when you call a function in a script. They told me what SCAR uses to compress bitmaps / dtms. They got this info not by being SCAR developers, they got it by analyzing the exe.
Cruels has way faster functions/procedures.
http://cruels.net/index.php?showtopic=3659When people ask about iBot i give them answers. I often get requests on how to apply a function to SCAR. I have given out pieces of the source to many many people, not to mention anyone can decompile it. I have never seen one line of SCAR source.

This is the attitude of most of the SRL Devs have. They like their child "SRL". They dont want to see it used for mass macroing. SRL was founded when aryan was around. It was more of hobbyist not for profiteers. The SRL Dev/Devs that are profiteers dislike me bc i hurt their business and make it competitive. However they are quick to ally them selves with other profiteering expedition so long as it does not involve me example Sythe.
When i was exploring the concept of iSCAR, a pascal intreptor to use SCAR scripts on iBot. The people that like the idea were profiteers not hobbyist. They liked the idea of using all the work of previous SCAR scripters on iBot. So did i for it would save me time in theory. However i was counter by some urged not doing it. I was free to do what i liked. I decided from a Software Development pespective that this would not be good.

Drylock does not have the source for 2.03 nor is he involved in the communities.
Freddy1990 is very friendly but i think his hands are tied with what hes allowed to do.
Kaitnieks, i never talked to the guy, Genodemon use to him ALOT he was i think for much time the only one that use "scar script encryption" on his UberFighter.
However i dont have him in good light over the raw insident. Before and after the redirection to raw's AR2 scam, i know GenoDemon was uring him to redirect to impsoft.net . I do believe moparisthebest even asked. At the time moparisthebest was part of the impsoft family, we developed some thing together. We were doing very advance things with SCAR, including dynmically updating scripts, hand shaking authentications, scar script obfuscation, universal stats-system, re-starting scripts. We had about 5 people working on this, i was primarly working with Aryan Scripts, i did the most notable Aryan Scripts. He refused to re-direct to us. We ask multiple admins to the site, non cared. Some even put us down by talking about how were we not part of some "super" community member group even thou i had 175 rep. I forget what mopar and genodemon had rep wise.
The people part of the impsoft team, or use to be part of the team were very vocal about the ordeal. I was espcially, I posted on every site warning people, example
http://www.sythe.org/archive//t-128001.htmlAll of the kaitneiks staff DID NOT CARE. They hated all the leechers and i guess they felt the leechers "DESERVED" to be scammed.
Luckly today the heads of some of the communities actually fight scammers.
5 Months ago, 8 months after ar2. moparisthebest, and myself. We were both hit for not going with raw's next . raw went right to the source by ddosing me for 3 weeks. He went to mopar's hoster and tried to cut a deal with him. He also attacked mopar for over 2 weeks. Mopar and his host spent many hours fighting the attacks and bandwidth costs. I was down for 3 weeks, i lost 70% of my members.
The mistakes of the previous generation are not being repeated by the current generation.

Wow VERY interesting ruler! I've read over all of the posts and now realize that it can be done, so I think it should. Like you said ruler, a lot of people would probably use it to auto more like RSDemon is now. But I personally am pretty happy with how SRL uses the player array now. Yes, I most likely would sometimes auto on 2 accounts at the same time, but most of the time not. I would mostly use it so it wouldn't take over my whole computer when I auto like it does now. My parents would still be able to use the computer while I am autoing, and it would fix a lot of problems for me.

That would be good for me also. Another thing, only for members. I think if we released it to registered users it would get used and abused just like rsdemon.
The main thing that makes this so appealing to me is the fact that It wont take control over the mouse and keyboard.
At the moment I have to run SCAR in a Virtual Machine to do that, and thats no fun haha.
iScar sounds fantastic. The main argument against it seems to be the possibility for huge abuse on high-end systems.
Multiple RS Clients autoing on Multiple Characters. It could create a monster.
IMO, make it so only one iScar Client can be opened at one time. Like MSN Messenger.
Of course people will crack it, but it will stop alot of the noobs who will be likely to abuse it.

I agree with you. Most likely someone will crack it, but most people won't be able to. And most of the ones that have the knowledge to find a way around the "only 1 client thing" don't even want to abuse it and run multiple clients.

well even if silent mouse worked, and the applet didnt have to be visible, i dont think it would turn into aryan again because runescape uses too much system resources,
with aryan, a lot of the graphics rendering was removed, you could run about 40 on a generally normal computer, but i think with a silent-mouse-scar, you would be lucky to run 3

hey Ruler, you know SRL devs dont have the Scar source ether, (unless you're freddy), we only really control SRL, we dont even have the source to FreddyPlugin
i think the reason SRL and Scar are so close, almost synonymous, is that if loads of Scar includes are made, there end up being flame wars about people stealing each others Wait() procedure or something,
also, if you go to mopar's sourceforge cherokee page, theres the whole AccessorMethods filled out for RS2 on the Svn repository, so if anyones up to the challange…
ruler, im sorry that impsoft and srl dont get on very well, i guess people think all java cheats work the same as aryan, i myself used to dislike ibot, hopefully iv gotten past that now

Well I think they should just make it so you can only run one rs window at a time. One of the things I hate about SCAR is you can't do anything else while you've got the script running unless you're on a VM. but even then you can't do much because of the amount of RAM it takes up. One macroer at a time would just be normal and if you somehow could get 3 well that's not so bad. But making it members only is probly the best idea. That will make people really try harder to learn to script.
Also what's this Mopar java thingy you guys were talking about.

I've done 4 at once, but it crashed about 30 seconds after I logged into the fourth. Maybe someone could do some Firefox vs. IE7 vs. Some random client tests for system resources… I have a feeling IE might win, just because Microsoft makes their stuff work with Windows better.

If SCSS did not crash all the time because of applet errors it would probably be the best way to use more than one applet seeing how it is such a lightweight world switcher and it uses IE.

Also, I think it could be for SRL Members only. Freddy could probably make something in Scar that checks if you're a member on here or something, like right after you install it. It could stop almost all leaking, and if someone's account did get cracked, someone could just null that account.

So what do you say yakman?
In my opinion I think you should let them have it (uncompiled if you wish, and if they can't compile it themselves then they don't need to use it)
It won't cause any 'mass autoing' or anything because you can only use as many as will fit on your screen, and it will help out people that want to do other things while autoing one client. You did the dirty work in SCAR to make it work, so it is all up to you. :)

So….Let's see if I've got this straight:
- Named Cherokee
- Made in Java
- Pluginified for SCAR use by yakman?
- Works as a silent mouse for RS (or any other applet, provided that you write those two 'required' classes I read about on the sourceforge page)
- Already has the classes written for RS?
- Is undetectable
- Needs the applet to be visible on the screen?
Yakman

yeah, i think the only reason i didnt release it yet is cause i didnt really use it, normally i only auto at night, i guess i normally didnt feel like changing
anyway, you guys should get cherokee from the Svn checkout, (those RS classes have already been written then)
also, to use it you need to go to MMouse, TypeSend and stuff, and replace it with the cherokees ones,
i dont have the scar<->java files here right now, but when i get back ill probably do it
