Hey everyone. I'm currently botting dungeoneering with idung. I'll be getting 120, so I will be able to get every chaotic obviously. I am trying to decide what my next should be. I am a maxed main btw. I currently have:

Multiple chaotic crossbows
Multiple chaotic staves
Chaotic rapier
Chaotic Maul

Should I buy a CLS next? (What's it good for? some bossing I heard?)

Also after CLS, should I just buy all the shields, and then keep all the other tokens after the shields (600k tokens for all three) to save up to buy all the offhand weapons?

Well firstly chaotics might be becoming redundant soon http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86712

IMO buy the cls then save the tokens for either when you lose a chaotic or for the ecb update

I recall during the bxp weekend we got extra dung exp but no extra tokens, maybe this summer thing will only give exp? :)

The exp part was not what I was referring to. If you read down on the article on the rs website it states that people who are members through all of August-September will be receiving the choice of one of the four new most powerful weapons.

Well that makes sense, since we got 4 weapons to choose of I assume that the wep you choose wont be good for all combat styles so a chaotic staff/crossbow would still be useful if you decided to choose a melee weapon from this summer event!

I assume when they said choose one out of four ultimate items they mean in a poll. Like pick the future of Runescape. probably wouldn't be good for the economy if they just handed out the golden gun.

Hmm. I'm not worried about that item - I don't think it'll bother dungeoneering weapons.

But so someone said to buy the CLS but they didn't say why - what's it used for?

CLS is primarily used for high end pve (bosses, etc.) as it generally provides a higher damage output than most other weapons (like the cr).

I hope the new items don't bother the chaotics but it looks like they will (just from what Jagex have been doing lately, their moving towards the money = power scenario).

Ok thanks I bought it =). Still got 100k tokens left.

But you don't think I should go ahead and buy the shields? Just since the EOC, everyones saying that shields are going to be way overpowered. (after I buy all the shields, I am still going to save up a lot of dung tokens for offhand chaotics)

Make sure to upgrade your dg rings!

After the EOC the CLS will become more useful simply because it will attack at the same rate as CR but will be a slash weapon.

My advice is that you buy 1 of each chaotic(inlcuding shields) and save all the rest. When the EOC hits, IDung will be useless. While kiko is fixing idung, just try out all of your chaotics and see what combination works for you.
