I've recently went back to a past forum I used to visit and I was curious at my previous posts.

When I clicked on them, and read whether they were flame wars, or arguments, or whatever, and thought…
wow is that really me?

Ive done it before but not on purpose. It seems so weird. You catch the little mistakes here and there and go wow I sound like a loser, or why did I say something like that, thats stupid…

I do this with old notebooks from school and stuff. Even ones from like only a year ago! The ones from 5-10 years ago are just hilarious too when you look at them, lol.

I did this several years ago. It's pretty funny but sad. It's all part of maturing or something like that, it's a good thing!

I recently logged in on my old e-mail which I used ~5 years ago (when I was 11 y/o), read some of the conversations and I felt pretty clever tbh :p
Because.. what 11 y/o kid teaches someone else how to add objects to his RSPS? I DID :D
(probably copied some of it from a tutorial but w/e)

When I was 14, I made a topic on a discussion board and basically wrote an essay on why I think all hobos are worthless and don't deserve any chances in life. Not a flame topic or anything, I was posting reasons and being completely serious about it. I somehow ended up finding it on that same website 7 years later and was completely appalled by what I said. Sure it was 7 years ago, but it was still me who said it.

It's happened to me on some other more recent occasions, too. Like the "Greetings" topic I made when I first signed up here. It was so embarrassingly stupid.

Hindsight is always 20/20, I guess.

Like, one time, I was trying to as a girl out, about 4 years ago, in 5th grade. I was trying to ask this girl out, and when we went to the bathroom break or whatever (We had to line up) I'd get chosen alot, idk why, and I'd pic her to be second in line. I did that for about 4-5 weeks, and it turns out, she was dating my friend Tyler. I look back, think, What the FUCK was wrong with me, and then I go and do some shit to be cool. ;P

Yeah you know when we are young and inexperienced we make a lot of mistakes in such situations, that years later when we've dated multiple people or even one, but have gone through all this and learned so much that we look back a lot and question all of the things and is just bafelling how we just couldnt do the things back then.

Thats change and experience for ya.
