Got an in-game pop-up as well as a message to kill party demon's.

That's what I heard, and it's funny that they would include that into the video.

Also, there's no need to make fun of him.

EDIT: Kill the demon once, you don't have to get the kill and talk to hey presto

I was thinking the same very thing.

I really wish there was a way to know how many of the accounts were bots.

I'd be willing to bet at least 100 million. Probably more, though.

they didn't claim its unique. Well the player ids are unique you can say that :)

I estimate probably 120 million are goldfarm bots and 75 million account created and played by the real people, so that leaves 5 million different account logged in the past year. The real player subscription base is probably 200-500k tops, while the bot subscription base is probably 1.5x that.

the boogie bow looks amazing, if only the stats were a bit higher…
the glasses are ugly lol.

How long is this event going to last?

most holiday events lasted 3-4 weeks.

They should so make the event only last 24 hours then integrate the unit (it looks decent enough) into the new costume customization thing.
At first everyone would have the same thing but 6-12 months down the track the bow from the 24 hour event might be quite special to have.

Came on rs yesterday to check out the new cb beta(unfortunately for mems only w/e…) and saw a counter that read 199m accounts created. I turn to my bro and I laughingly say to him…"guess what..? 60% of those accounts are bots!" So that means jagex is celebrating a loss in disguise really than the victory it seems.

They kid who was talking about the Wilderness was actually pretty cool and funny. Props.

Well, I'm thinkin, runescape has had a legit 7m people since launch (my guess), each of them has created an average of 3 accounts, so 179m bot accounts created since launch.
