the emote is nice, the look is ok, but could be better, the stats are terrible.

I quite like the veteran cape tbh, looks kinda cool with my skilling outfit. :P

Come on you guys didn't expect anything great did you? It's not the like 5 year cape is cool at all. I wore it for like 10 minutes before taking it off and have never even looked at it again.

There was a person walking around the GE with the name 'Ten Year Cape' that was a level 3. And yet I still have a fair bit to go until I can finally claim my own :3

IMO they should've allowed your to take on the stats of your most powerful cape, possibly an NYC that charges maybe a 100k fee to bind the stats of a pOerful cape to the 10 and possibly 5 year veteran cape. What is the point of having one of the hardest to get capes in the game (apart from probs max/completionist) that is useless to wear? C'mon James, think!
They could probably done a way better job with it although I don't mind the emote, just make the cape itself look better.

Absolutely terrible cape for the prestige that it takes to acquire it. Goes to show how much Jagex respects a loyal player. I am eligible for the cape in 112 days. I always thought I joined Runescape in 2002, but I guess it was 2003 :/

Actually, I know I joined in 2002, but when they "bank transfer" from runescape classic to rs2 came, I choose to keep my items and continue playing classic. I didnt start playing runescape2 until like late 2004.

I want to see how long i have till i get it :P

I think there is only a way for p2p, by talking to Hans and asking him, but you can always try talking to Hans in f2p and see if it works.

They owe me a 10 year veteran cape! my account was created 2001.. But since it was RuneScape alpha and beta and shit i can't get it for 400 days…:(

Stats terrible as it is probably the rarest thing to have..

Cape itself doesn't look nice..

I wish they had a poll like they did for the veteran cape design. We got to vote on which design for them to put on.

No my account was created on second day when it came out, where jagex.com had a runescape announcement count down. There weren't a alpha or beta for it, if you had your account since then then you can have a 10 year cape. Unless your account got banned/deleted in the 05 big classic wipe or you didn't play on it for a while and remained f2p.
