SRL Archive - General

I've heard people using 3.02, 3.01, 3.00, 2.03, heck, there's probably people using 1.12 :D (just kidding)

But anyway, what is the majority of SRL-Forums using? I'm currently using 3.02. SCAR 3.01 was being a little weird. It wouldn't recognize any .scar files. But it does on 3.02..Must have been a bug. Anyway, what are you guys using? I tried to go back to 2.03, but I didn't want to redownload SRL -.-..and I tried to move it over from 3.01, but there was something wrong in Math.scar.

Anyway, now I gotta update SetupSRL.scar again and allow everything through my firewall *sigh*

EDIT: I just got the little window that .scar files don't know what to be opened with. I just had to select from the appropriate list. -.- Which is ok, it's just a pain.

Anyway, check out the new .scar icons for me.

If I wasn't lazy, I would go back :) , but I figured I'd just wait it out. SRL 4.0 I heard is coming out in a a week or so?

Hobbit SRL 4.0, not SCAR 4.0.

SRL 4.0 will be the first SRL to work with Divi (which could be at 3.05 something by then lol). No estimates on arrival.

It's ok, they both begin with S, and before now there hasn't been an issue with both having new versions.

Heh, i'm not sure, i last autoed with about 6 characters on 2.03 a week or 2 ago :P.

I'll stick to 2.03 untill theres something better out there.

I'm running all scripts on 2.03

Developing/testing all scripts on 3.02

Oh and btw, the 3.02 file association works fine, IEat…just go to tools and hit 'Associate .scar files'

meh im sticking with scar 2.03 untill srl4.0 comes out and people start getting scripts going with it. ive been brainstorming some script ideas but not gonna start ne thing right now cause of 4.0 :P plus im just now getting my vm working, WOOOOOOT!

You get those wierd SCAR icons when files are associated improperly.
Try download 2.03 and associating files to get normal ones backs.

For now im using 2.03 until Divi is more stable ( or just updated to a higher version)

Im using scar 1.1. Newer isnt always better. That goes for srl 1.0 aswell.

You should be using 2.03 for running scripts, or 3.02 for writing new ones (not suggested until SRL 4.0).

havent autoed since divi came out, though ive been checking out some of the stuff of divi…

i got all scars installed, but i use 2.03

i still use 2.03 because most of the SRL librarys and scripts havent been converted yet

so can somebody tell me how to associate scar files? Sorry for being so antsy.

I don't see what you guys are talking about… scripts work fine for me in 3.02… Of course I did edit SRL.

If you wrote it in 2.03 they can use it in 2.03. 2.03 is not broken.

Sometimes, but there's no reason to use it in 3.xx if it was written in 2.03, because it's not making use of 3.xx's new features.

True, but what I'm worried about is that people will want to use it in 3.xx just for eases sake. Cause some people downloaded new one and uninstalled old one. And I plan to sell it at mopars/sythe and I want to make sure that anyone who buys it will be able to use with ease. But owell, I'll figure it all out later, thanks for input :)

SCAR 2.03 is what i am using and its doing me very well so far.. only a few glitches, but im guessing it was the scripts.

help! i get this message when i use Scar Divi 3.06: Line 158: [Error] (14504:5): Unknown identifier 'finditemcolortol' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.06\Scripts\Whales Prayer Leveler 1.32.scar. is srl4.0 comes out??

i use divi, (and 2.03 for scripts that aren't compatable with divi(a lot of scripts wont work on divi))

were can i find scar 2.03, im currently running divi 3.06 and im having a few problems, i though it might be cause i didnt have srl 3.7 or something like that

People do you use scar 2.03 with SRL or just 2.03?

I like 2.03 better I dont know why but I just do.

SCAR 2.03 works faster for me and I'm using it.
Also I'm using SCAR 2.03 because in SCAR Divi (SRl 3.7) walking (RadialRoadWalk) is not working.

i think pretty much everybody here uses srl, (it is srl forus):):)

srl 3.06 and srl 3.7 :D

scar 2.03 for some scripts and scar divi 3.06 for others. some work on one and some work on divi lol

Nowadays I use SCAR Divi 3.06 [Patched] mostly, but I do STILL use SCAR 2.03 sometimes…

3.06 all the way. If the script doesn't work I edit it.
