Hello everyone, I will be making a Pokemon game from a base and I would like to know if people would like to get access to tools and guides on this subject. The scripting language is Rubicon but its not too hard to script with once you get the hang on it. The game is able to be played through a GBA emulator.

I've now deleted all my tools and files on this project twice but rebuilding them shouldn't be hard. Even the old and hard to find tools have been already found and some of the old tutorials are still up. I wouldn't mind documenting the tools, rewriting the tutorials and uploading a package for fellow SRLers. It could be a nice hobby for some of you out there who want to find something nice and different to work on.

You can edit almost everything. The only requirement is patience and time. I just want to get a feeling of what others feel about this kind of coding/scripting/project. I will still develop my version on my own time but I thought I'd share with others who are interested in creating their own versions.

I've never played a Pokemon game before but if it has to do with SRL count me in. :p I'm looking forward to see how this turns out. :)

This reminds me a bit of the Crimson Echoes project that got shut down by Square Enix after 5 years of development. The game was based off the SNES ROM of Chrono Trigger.

Make Wizzup or WT Fakawi like Prof. Oak or something. After all they are the boss (one of them will ahve to settle). Yohojo can be the nurse cuz hes always helping people :P
Markus can be the Mart guy.
Coh3n or NCDS can be the rival.

I am making the Heroine Sprite off this DS frame, since I am coding in GBA style, the size is much smaller altho I believe I nailed the concept with this mini =)

Due to the size, the detail is almost negible but I still believe its an outstanding job.
^.^

Making that took around 3-4 hours but thats because I wanted to do it right.
After I get the 4 main standing frames, front, back, left, right, the process should speed up considerably.
