I have one hell of a time after installing Simba 99. Nothing wants to work correctly.:eek:

I get this error when trying to compile a script I`m busy writing.

[Error] C:\Simba99\Includes\SRL/SRL/MISC/SMARTGRAPHICS.SIMBA(13:3): Duplicate identifier 'SMART_Canvas' at line 12
Compiling failed.

Now a duplicate means somewhere this variable was already declared, if I Comment it out as it was already declared then I receive this error.

[Error] C:\Simba99\Includes\SRL\SRL\MISC\SMARTGRAPHICS.SIMBA(25:3): Unknown identifier 'SMART_Canvas' at line 24
Compiling failed.

Now it does not know what Smart_Canvas is??????? :duh: If Smart_Canvas was declared, how can it not know what it is? :confused:

I just don`t know how to get past simba99. Everything is just wrong after installing it. This error takes place just after calling SMARTGRAPHICS.SIMBA

Can someone give me advice about this.

Could you please tell me how you solved the first area?
Because ObjDTM include calls Paintsmart so you don't need to declare it. If you'd like i could help over team viewer.

I don`t know precisely what you mean by solving the first area

remove all SMART_Server and the other 3, there not needed with the new smart

I have removed everything related to smart at the moment, trying to run the script through the browser and even with it all removed I still get errors. Now the errors has just moved to a different subjects namely:

Error: Exception: Access violation at line 580
The following DTMs were not freed: [SRL - Lamp bitmap, 1]
The following bitmaps were not freed: [SRL - Mod bitmap, SRL - Admin bitmap, SRL - Flag bitmap, 3, 4]

By the way, i`m using brandons fix

This error is in globals.simba

But I would like to know how to fix SMART 7.2 so that this issue can be resolved.

I do Use these includes as well, don`t know if they have anything to do with SMARTS issue

restart your simba, if that doesnt work use the plugins in the thread wizzup posted to replace the one in your plugin folder. then make sure you turn of automatc updating on everything

After a long struggle I figured out what was wrong. I did not understand what you meant by taking out the 3 reference to smart.

But by process of elimination I have figured out that it was objectdtm that was the problem and after commenting out the smart definition it works.

The problem is now solved and I`m off to botting and completing my script
