Was thinking of making an SRL Poker group.
Don't have all the details etc planned out yet but:

• People buy in with RSGP, there will be different 'groups' based on how much people are willing to play with.
• There will be a Skype/MSN/Something group in which everyone can talk/chill in
• All GP will be given to a trusted person (SRL Member, Mod, SSRL, whatever everyone can agree on)
• People play whenever there are enough people online to play (or make scheduled games)
• I believe we can make groups/tables/etc at PokerStars.com

I will work on all the details/kinks later, but I was thinking of making a thread about this on the Black Market section, y'all okay with this?

Don't plan on this stirring up too much scams etc, everyone give GP to a trusted person, play the game, trusted person distributes gp to winner(s).
If it gets out of hand or anything, I'll just stop it.

I would probably play once in a while when I have time.

Been playing with some Sythe people it's pretty fun!
Not too hard to organize, fun to call on Skype and talk with mic.
Everyone is friendly and it's good fun and community building!
Pretty informal, everyone just add each other up, and whenever enough people are on they just decide on a buy in and have fun!

I'd make the tread in BM to avoid any scams, but I doubt anyone would go though all the trouble to play poker etc etc just to scam :p.

What are other people's opinions on this?

We could use the poker client/server I built for me and my mates :) it's written in python and therefore cross platform. Here is a screenshot:

I'd love to use it, but I think an offiial/fully featured client like the PokerStars one would be best :).

I'll create the thread with rules, protocalls, etc tomorrow and fine tune/edit it as people suggest things. Gambling and community building and friendly competition yay!
