Simple!

I saw the tree and thought "Must be an oak!" and then it clicked. I did some letter bit-shifting and letter math:

1) OAK
2) Shift-left = AKA (since A is equivalent to 0 in letter bits, of course)
3) Subtract both A's from O: (O - A)K(O - A)
4) NKN

It's elementary letter mathematics. /bored
