Exactly what the title says. The items that are in your inventory upon logging in will not glitch until you log out. So, if you log in with all the items you want to use for the duration of a script, you shouldn't have any issues with item glitches. I'll use my fire-cooker script as an example. I can log in with a raw lobster, cooked lobster, and willow log in my inventory, and those 3 items will always be visible. So, in theory, safe mode can be used for botting even with these "glitches" as long as you log in with all of the items that will be handled while the script is running.
The only issue with this is that the bank is very unpredictable, so a script with banking might have some issues. The good thing is, all items in the bank are 100% visible and aren't glitched the first time opening the bank. So if you find the items you want to withdraw the first time using the bank and store the coordinates (or simply use static bank coords), that shouldn't be a problem.

Could just use the first time opening the bank then to store the index of the items you are looking for, then use uptext to verify on future withdraws. Seems simple enough.
Eidt: seems like Rs is actually working on fixing the item problem:

Do they need anything more for bot detection ?
They already tried small item deformation. Now they done 100% item deformation for Safe Mode used by bots.
Items deformation is not same all the time. Some time same item get deformed or invisible. If it is a bug, jagex can fix it in no time as they have years of experience. Only Bank (the item you withdraw) and Inventory get deformed, nothing else in the game.

You are giving Jagex way too much credit.
