What is your guys take on injection.
I want to use them but I don't know if they got a higher ban rate or stuff.

Meh, you can use them but in the event of a mass ban or something they'd be the ones to go first…since they inject into the actual client. Also there are reports of some hackings using them but who knows.

I say stick to Simba, as will most people here…

I want to stick to Simba for the most part, but there are some bots that i've seen powerbot have that we dont. ;(

I've had wayyyyy too many bans using Injection/Reflection to want to tread anywhere near it again. (Unless Kiko got iDungeon Pro to work again, God that script was sex covered in chocolate sauce and marshmallow fluff)

Tbh, if you're going to bot, stick with color bots such as Simba, Scar, or RiD. Tbh Runedream is too new and buggy for my preference.

And check out Epicbot's Pro Dungeoneering…it's pretty damn good and comes close to iDung. That is the ONLY thing I will ever suggest as far as injection goes. Anything besides that script…Simba.

I have a friend who has Epicbot's Dung bot, and it's absolute shit compared to what iDung used to be. Optimus, the series of bot nukes, will take out Epicbot pretty soon, so I wouldn't even be wasting my money on a bot that isn't going to work for very long anyway. The nuke is going to be launched, injection is going to break, then it's going to get fixed, then Jagex will launch another nuke with Optimus, and then it's just going to repeat over and over again.

Color and OpenGL will be the future for botting in RS very soon

I used to despise Simba… hard to run even when I was a newb…

BUT over time I dived in and learned quite a lot about the client and to be honest I would NEVER bot on any other platform again!! First, the Simba community is not full of ashcans…. Secondly, people over here tend to be honest and really work together…. Third, as others have said Injection is 100% detectable since you are hooking into the game client and then there are the potential legal issues of doing so… Simba does not hack the client at all. Lastly, while an OK injection script will beat up a OK Simba script the reality is a GREAT Simba Scripter can EQUAL quite a large % of injection scripts…. Oh and one last thing: Running Simba requires a bit of intelligence which does tend to keep the leechers are bay…..

About the ONLY script I wish we could have that the Injections have currently is a Dungeoneering script… but who knows when we move a lot further along with the Open GL perhaps we will even have THAT here! :)

Good Luck.

The methods used for injection for botting, which Epicbot, Rarebot, Powerbot use is actually undetectable. Jagex cannot tell specifically that you are using injection, however, there are many behaviors that injection bots are known to do, and they are capable of doing things that humans and color bots can't (identify object's exact locations while they are off screen, be able to see and click certain objects when they are out of physical view, etc) that Jagex can use as evidence that they are botting. In the end, they can also use the lack of human mouse movements as evidence of botting, since injection tends to have some of the shittiest mouse movements I've ever seen. It's not the injection itself that's detectable, it's the script that is.

I do assure you, this will be very much possible in the near future. Mato is coming right along with his DXI plugin for Simba and Aftermath's OGL plugin still works just fine, but it's quite limited. If I'm not mistaken Brandon has been working on a more complete OGL plugin for Simba, but he's not made any announcements of that sort yet. Here's hoping.

So keep your eyes open as there are some powerful tools being worked on this very moment. It's only a matter of time.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me how injection exactly is detectable? Because since you're injecting into the coding couldn't you simply modify anything that Jagex tries to do to find if you've injected or not? I've never understood that. Although injection can be detected, doesn't it also make it undetected? Can't you just modify the client so when Jagex checks if the client's been modified it'll always come back as false?
