Ok guys I am losing my mind…I was just hacked on two accounts

one being my mule…the second being my main, my main account was hit last night for nearly 300-400m


I just went to log on my mule to buy more seaweed and it was empty….

I didnt notice IP because I wasn't expecting to be cleaned…

One of two things right now, I have a keylogger on my computer or a script I used on the account logged my password…

The only scripts I have used on both accounts are:

a glass maker made by a forum member, and a bros herb script…Other then that no other script I used on both accounts were ever used.

I'm not home right now to scan my computer, but can anyone suggest a program to scan my computer? my second account nobody else knew about….I still have 1 other account that has yet to be hit but it has a whopping 4m on it so…

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is very solid and you can get a free version right off of there site. Sorry to hear about your losses!

With out a doubt, must have been a script. I have a Mac and a PC. The PC was solely used for Simba and Simba only. Pretty cheesy.

Did you check on your other account yet if you got cleaned? If your other account is cleaned then scan your computer because I never logged onto your mule on my computer. If its not cleaned then it may be my computer….

If you think its something up with a script then ask someone who knows to check it up :) Dont you need to grant access before simba can connect to a webpage etc anyway?

My computer has and will forever stay clean. The malware program is almost perfect. It was only used for running the scripts (mining guild, serum207, molten glass maker, prayer script, runespan, and the moss giant script). My mining guild miner was not cleaned.

Honestly, I don't care. I stopped playing runescape to focus on school. Plus, This game will not benefit my future what so ever. If anything it will hinder it. I am starting to intern, so I have no time to even play. No point in abutting if you don't play anyways.

Teamviewer is a possibility it IS possible to send malicious files over/open a simba script and view your password/username.

Any script that you got off of these forums shouldn't have any suspicious code in it unless you managed to grab a script before it was reported and taken down. That being said, there is no telling what is in a script if it is "private" and not open for the community to view. If you have been using any private scripts I would suggest sending them to someone who is a knowledgeable scripter and who you trust here on these forums.

Look I been texting Jesse [footballjds] and I already told him what I think…

This morning Jesse told me to trust no one, few days ago I let him on my computer while I was at work to get my account set up with a script…

I litterally only have my computer dedicated for Runescape Autoing so its not used for anything else.

I'll post the script; if anyone knows SEHC88 its his glass script someone please email me your email so I can send you it but footballjds already confirmed that the script is cleaned but I will send you every script I have but everything but the glass script is a public script…

My brother chris91 mule wasnt hit but both mine were…both accounts I use on a daily basis with scripts / simba

I dont blame the bot, I blame the owner (me) for trusting to much…I have two options when I get home I need to look to scan the computer…Id also like to scan my office computer too, anyone plase give me a link? But my office computer never had simba I just TV back to my house to check up on my accounts..

If someone is reselling Shay's scripts, or anyone's for that matter, I wouldn't be surprised if they changed it up a bit to get your password as well.

What was your scripts you were using?

For a virus scanner I'd suggest eset's online virus scanner. Damn awesome anti-virus program, Eset was the company behind Nod32

malwarebytes will detect nearly everything

if you care about your accounts, dont ever trust anyone (maybe excluding your brother) with the information to it. doing so is just asking to be hacked.

Anybody who has been "hacked" by a script PM me the script, I will look into them… If they are public, I highly doubt it but regardless I will look.

The only scripts that really have the potential are private ones because SRL members don't get a chance to view them to ensure safety.

Also security.sex is really the only way to 100% prevent it from happening even by an accidental run of a script.

Never be fooled to think that things like security.sex keeps you safe. Scripts can still be behind hackings, like just typing the credentials in game to someone. No need to post them over some web-page.

E: This is exactly why I never put my username / password in scripts. What I do, is just log in manually and the hit play!

I suppose lol, but the game blocks you from saying your password but it is still possible.

I just use Smart Manager to manage my logins as it is encrypted.

so he bought a script..? Why would you buy a script on a site that tries so hard to forbid script sales? On top of that, why would you trust it?

I 100% promise you it wasn't a script that's public here. If you bought a script from someone, then chances are they could of changed it to steal your password. From now on, make sure the script is clean (You can send it to me if you want, and I'll make sure).

I trusted two users huge, 1 with a script and 1 being on my computer alone for a long period of a time…I assume I should slap my self in the face but this is a friendly community and I refuse to play a game I cant trust my peers….I refuse to sign in and post on this forum if I have to second guess those who I am talking with because Im afraid there stealing pixels….

Sorry to hear man. Hope it wasn't someone on this site. Definitely hope it wasnt done over teamviewer. The trust is slowly lowering with the help over it. Doubt it was a public script but it could very well be a Java drive by or someone who sold you an altered script.

You say someone named "SEHC88" gave you this glass maker script? I've never heard of this person. You should definitely get that script checked, especially if it was private.

Shay I sent you the email… As to this, I am scanning my computer as we speak if no keylogger / virus comes up then I know this was an attack done via Teamviewer and I know who is responsable…I am going to be very hurt more for the fact that my trust was mistaken, the pixels can be re-purchased but trust is not as simple to buy back…

Yes morals are much more important but there are those that are greedy and selfish that can break morals in order to do what pleases them. Care to share who it was that has done this if no virus/malware appears?

Runescape is full of greed for two reasons:

1) There is a "global" economy system with a central trading hub, much like the stock exchange (entirely analogous, of course).

2) RWT is thriving.

So not only is there an economy that mirrors the real-world economy, but the real-world currency actually spills over into the game as well. And that adds up to a double-dose of greedy greed.

McAfee came up with 0 infected objects as well….


Shay confirmed my private glass script was clean; poorly made with lack of failsafes but clean none the less…


So guys how else can both my accounts be cleaned? Not 1 but 2….I've been trying to figure this out and my only other idea if the guy who helped me…Which he made a strong valid point, why would he look on my computer @ my scripts since he was helping me for hours…Then again he was on my computer for hours with out me watching since I TRUSTED HIM…He's also been a member of SRL since 07 so why shouldn't I trust him?

Download Malwarebytes and install the free premium trial and do a full scan and flash scan.

footballjds; Look I am not pointing fingers…I am not blaming anyone yet, let me just present the facts & then let you guys decided what direction I should look at.

My emotions right now says Jesse wasn't behind this. First he was very helpful, and friendly. Not to mention Sunday he spent about 3 hours getting my script to work; I tried to fight off the bosses on one of the script after 4 horrible attempts I couldn't get it to work I he logged into TV on his computer and I logged into his client with my account and he got it to work; that was Sunday…[He also was on my account for about 1 hour alone too, on my computer]

Since then he's helped me along with advice / tips. Now I wake up this morning and I am cleaned… That was on my main account, then my second account about 6 hours later is cleaned and I just logged onto my third account and I still have 1m on it but its invo…

All 3 accounts have the glass blowing script and user name…1 named "xxxx" which was taken for the entire bank today—the second which is my main was linked to my fighting script, my herb script, my prayer script, and my construction script….the third account linked to the glass script but just named "glass"


With that being said what are my options I have?

Lets say Phish? But that would work on my main account, ya? How did it get my second account, I have never logged on it with anything but Simba…

Lets think Keylogger, but my virus software already proved that to not be possible…

Lets think simba scripts? Shay has proved that not to be possible….

Im leaning towards the teamviewer thing as much as it pains me to type it. I would like to here footballjds's (Jesse's) side of the story. I would hope he wouldnt do this but it is not in my place to accuse him because I dont know him personally and because people are capable and willing to do anything to please themselves. This is one of the many problems in the world.
Idk what else it could be so unfortunately I have to lean towards this as a result of elimination of other possibilities. Would have been much better if you could get the IP. Go to your recent IP logs and please post if there is a different IP so mods can check it out and tell us who it could be.

The only other thing I can think of is your not telling us everything and you're making it up…?

With the evidence I provided; what are your thoughts? What looks to be a possiblty… I have been playing RS since 03 and I've been hacked once back in 04-05 when someone advertised a to good to be true website and my younger brother went to the site, and it was those sites that automatically downloaded a keylogger onto your computer….


Well now I am much smarter, much older and I am a lot wiser to those scams…Now I play the game for fun / friends if people are going to scam me left and right and try and cheat me out of a game I play for fun I may as well say fuck it and not play this game anymore; to many serious players, why aren't you playing Runescape olympics in London??? But seriously I've been using Simba for 3 months now and I've had no problems as soon as I adventure out and let someone help me, they take complete advantage of me and take my kindness and fuck me right in the ass with taking my GP…Lurking on my computer while I am away is sad, taking my pixels and lying about it is a sin.

Plenty of older members don't even play anymore, they just stick around to help. And he could have easily gotten caught if you had simply looked at your screen while he was doing something fishy… It doesn't really add up if you ask me.

Look I don't care anymore, what is done is done… He's not going to confess that he took the GP. I even offered him 50m just for helping me…I figured he gave his time, and time is money I'll give him what I think his time was worth to me.

Then with that being said I haven't had the time to trade over the GP since most of my capital sat with in product of seaweed & sand…

I haven't changed my patern at all since playing, always been the same; same scripts I've always used and all my scripts are public scripts and I've always talked with the devs of the script and kept in great contact with the makers….

Prove me wrong, Jesse text me man, call me; prove me wrong…I'm not taking a shit on your reputation but do me one thing and prove me wrong.

Show me one other possibilty that what I am saying is wrong…Tell me I have a keylogger but yet I have 0 downloads; tell me a script I used is the reason my accounts were hacked, show me proof because Shay has already vouched that my scripts were CLEAN…

Again what are my options? lets do process of elimination, scripts? NO. Keylogger? NO Phish? NO You on my computer? That is the question I can't say no because really man I wasn't in front of the computer to watch what you were doing and my script folder sat right in front of you the entire time…Anyone who is needing a pay day, would you not be at all interested to make a quick 800m? Espically when you told me you never had more then 30m before? Right now it gives you motive because you could use "gp" now lets discuss how you could get my info, its simple all my account info was only two clicks away…

Just because McAfee says you're clean, doesn't mean you for sure are. McAfee is some piece of shit AntiVirus. Download Avast like I recommended if you haven't already, it's easily the best free Antivirus.

Also, just because Antivirus doesn't pick it up, doesn't mean it's not there. Some malicious software is 'FUD' meaning Fully Undetectable, meaning that Antivirus software cannot detect it. Only a full reformat of your computer would remove it and make you safe at that point.

What about a RAT? You don't have to download anything to get one and they usually don't show up on virus scans.

He knew I went with my wife to Petco to bring my Golden Retreiver to dog training…So he had 1 hour of opportunity & since my scripts all sat in a folder on the desk top it really wasn't hard…

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday he texted me asking for the GP…He didn't ask today…hmmm I wonder why…

I know Jesse's attuide isn't going to be positive; I know hes going to say he's not going to steal gp, he doesn't need gp, etc etc but when given a oppetunity for a lot of GP you just can't trust people I guess…

Espcially when hes earned my trust, he'll sit back wait a few days let everything blow over log onto my accounts take everything and no body would suspect him because it was 4 days ago, its so easy to blame someone else….Except my computer is never used for anything but Simba…..

I dont use it for anything so it really narrowed down alot…not to mention my brothers accounts all were never touched because none of his accounts are linked to my scripts its ironic the accounts that were hit were right on my desk top…. If it was a keylogger why wasn't my third account not hit? I logged on it last night and this morning….But that account isn't on my desktop or on any scripts login info…Fishy right?

Opportunity: on my computer alone;

Motive: needed GP–figured nobody whould point fingers at someone as trusted as him, it was a easy back door apporch to obtain some loot, he earned my trust, we were friends and he figured if he waited enough of time nobody whould suspect him but I havent played in 3 days and before then I played 2 days afterwards but only with Simba, haven't used the computer for anything else;; its a brand new computer entirly dedicated for Simba…..

It doesn't have to be something you've downloaded, simply accepting a java applet request from a malicious site can give you a RAT.

But if you literally haven't visited any site other than SRL / RS then a RAT is ruled out entirely.

I offered to pay him for a minning script, he was talking about building a dragon script; him and I linked up. Emailed each other back an forth, started talking via gmail finally we started texting each other.

I asked for his help, I don't do quests as my brother use to do 'em for me. Since he quit the game I asked Jesse for his help. He helped and I always like to reward those who help me because I am not cheap I like to give back to those who could use it. I told him I'd give him 50m but every day I got bugged when I was going to give him the gp and it kinda became like a blood sucking thirst for the gp and it just turned me off…


Now I am left with nothing and ironically he's not asking for any gp..:(

You can also get a RAT from Java drive-bys, where all that is required to be infected is you pressing 'Yes' or 'Accept' to some Java permission pop-up.

Also, if he was Teamviewing with you, he has the ability to transfer files from his computer to yours if he wanted.

I've even known a couple of mods from other sites who have been infected, so it's not like it's impossible.

Im uploading my history, I dont use my computer often because I use my ipad for most all my web searching again this computer is desinated just to run Simba nothing else.

Joe, TV on my accounts let Jesse come post on the fourms he saw my account….I assumed last night I was cleaned by someone else…I didn't suspect Jesse at all.

Then when my second account was hit, an account Jesse never knew about only my brother and I knew of since we did all our glass making on it I knew now that the guy I suspected last night isn't the person and Jesse has something to do with this.


Joe I am easy to dish out trust and I have no problem proving all of what I am posting so if I were I'd back the fuck up. Because I am not claiming Simba stole shit from me.

I have 3 accounts 2 accounts got hit, 1 account didn't.


I have another 2 accounts that my brother owns and none of them were hit.

3 accounts I logged onto in the last 24hours and only 2 of the 3 got hit, only the 2 that have my login info were hit….

Shay already told me the scripts werent the issue, so now it has to do with someone looking at the pass info / username on my scripts.

I stated in my previous post that I ran Simba for 3 weeks flawless no issues, once I consult in out side assistance I get burned…

I also stated the Shay confirmed the scripts are clean… AGAIN; I posted it twice that cleared up any doubt that it was a script. I did simple process of elimination; If it wasn't a script, didnt pick up anything on a scan; not that it should since I don't visit any sites as my history shows; what is left? Someone on my computer ALONE with every bit of curiosity to peek to see my user name; he knew I had over 500m on my account and he knew it was very simple to get it…..He told me he never had more then 50m ever…he's got a chance to get 500m, do you think hes not going to take the chance to get alot of gp????

Very sorry for your loss, mate. I've read all your posts(from page 1-3) and the most suspicious person is your friend, Jess from my point of view. I can't think of anything else that might have hacked you. Your friend was setting up the script for you for quite a while and he may have the opportunity to install anything dangerous and can be a keylogger that is FUD. Installing a keylogger is very easy and even I can install one.( Cybergate ftw :D) Anyways, very sorry for your loss acounts, mate :(

Ahh you see I wouldnt say that. Trust only those who are deemed trustworthy whether it be from other people's perspective or some other source. Dont trust people looking for money because they are just out to get you no matter what it takes.
That is the advice I would give you. Not all people are like this. I mean Ive helped many people over teamviewer and all of them can vedge and say Ive never done anything to them. It all depends on the person that is helping.

Like I said before though, if you got his IP, it would be so much easier. If you havent already, check your IP logs in your Simba folder and see if you can find the odd one out.

Maybe…..but he didnt log into my third account so I rule key loggers out.

He was only able 2 see two of my accounts info…So that means there never was a keylogger no need for one when you have acess to my files and can peak at any given time.

I texted him and nothing….I leta ol' friend of mine do 'love story' quest last night on my my account and I assumed he was the one that cleaned me last night but then in the afternoon when I saw my other account get hit I knew that Jesse was behind it.

What would you like to prove? Text messages of him on my TV? Text messages of me saying I'll be back in a hour? What would you like me to prove to you? This is all the reason why it was so easy for him to steal everything and wait 3 days to take it because there'd be no fingers pointing at him until he stole everything off my second account…

But you know what it is what it is; he did what he did and I just want him to fess up to it. I have his cell # and at the worse case I'll just craigslist bomb his cell # I really don't care at this point its gone and I consider it a loss I'll just change my TV ID & password along with all my user name passwords; I'll make sure that this doesn't happen again as for Jesse he'll need a new phone number but its a drop in the bucket with all the loot he managed to scape off me.


I give it about 3 days of spam before he offers the items back or a portion of my items back. I'm willing to work with him, but I'll just let the CL bomb do the rest–I'll wait until I hear from him before I do anything.

Like I told you through PM, there are every few people in the world who are not willing to sacrifice their morals for some price… For some it may be to save their kid and for others is may be for some Runescape gold.

Unfortunately, it does not look like you are going to have enough solid evidence for us to be 100% sure who did it. But what you can do is continue to post nothing but the truth and the evidence you have, and hopefully the person who is responsible will lose all trust and respect from the community.

Here is my desktop… Now notice I have scripts visible on my desktop, which those only relate to my main account…

Inside the folder the highlighted blue accounts was my second account that was hit, highlighted red was scripts that had my mains user/pw on it

scripts in blue are scripts for my second account with user / pw

now i blocked my name out on the header but again he knew I wasn't home because he asked if I dc'ed the tv and I told him " no i'm not home " right there tells him he can peek around quickly to see what he can find….

i also have screen shot of text messages of him asking for 50m every day but today…no wonder he already got it, why ask;; just take it!

I think the checking of his bank and accounts is probably too late. If you are to check all of the accounts he is believed to have and find nothing there is still ways he could have moved the money and items.

Might as well. They may not show you all the ip's that have logged on but if there is one that stands out they might do something. Tell them you want to know so you can be sure your computer doesnt have a keylogger on it

The evidencce I see (though minimal) is that the second account was hacked and no RATs or Malware was found and no other person other than the brother had access to the account whereas fjds could have seen it when po2n was out. That is honestly silly to say. 500 million RSGP is worth at least $200. You can find people here, on Sythe, and all over the internet who will gladly pay $0.40 per Runescape million. So if it is worth actual US currency (or any currency for that matter), then it is definitely worth something more than nothing…

Maybe you are trying to play semantics and in that case, sure the actual pixels aren't worth anything, but the pixels aren't just what was stolen if you look at it in that light.

Just because a person doesn't play a game, or play it often, doesn't mean that they can't see the value in the black market, considering we're already in the RS black market, even if most of the scripts are free.

I buy gold in bulk @ .4-.53/mil, so imagine how much would be made off selling 500mil+, it even could easily be sold at street for around .58-.63/mil.

He doesn't have to post his defense here, he can privately talk with any higher up and give his side of the story.

RATs can be FUD, and the only way to get rid of them is to do a complete format of the system.

I'm interested in seeing the IPs if he can get them, that will rule against or in favor of fjds.

I want to see proof, from someone pointing to someone who did it. Not speculation, which is all you have.

Would you show a cop your bank account because while you were standing outside of the bank, it got robbed. It makes no sense, it could be a coincidence that this happened in the timeline that it did. I've seen weirder things happen.

Jagex won't give you the IP, I had asked for IPs before and they declined it for "security reasons".

I am not obligated to do anything. I have respect for s1n, I was not "attempting to avoid him". I turned my chat off because i was receiving spam about a dfs… 30 seconds later i turned it to private so s1n could see my world. I was joined by a few guys from SRL for a bit. I even killed some Cyclopes with a big fat mat ;)
I got 2 dragon defenders :D

He doesn't have to prove himself to you, only the higher ups. They will review his evidence, and yours. Quite frankly, I see more evidence from fjds, and none from you.

There is no need to flat out lie. As logs of texts will show you sent me your info to the one account so i could log on and get you an ava's accumulator. I logged onto it from my laptop. (for clarity's sake, this was AFTER he was hacked)

If your script has had something put into it to steal your password and you don't know how to find it yourself I would look at it for you to check it out and make sure it's safe. Anyone willing to steal pixels is worth nothing in my eyes and always willing to help out other members when I can in situations like this.

Its not because Simba is down I dont think. It just sometimes doesnt log and it always seems to be when you need the logs the most. Dont know why it does this so perhaps someone else can elaborate who has more knowledge about it.
