Now that betas been out for a while, I assume people will hopefully be able to answer this question:

What's the new best gear for range/Mage/str(melee)?

For example do the new virtus boots give more Mage bonus then the Ragefire boots?

New virtus gloves better Mage bonus then Spellcaster gloves?

What's better - virtus wand + arcane, or chaotic staff?

If anyone could give a new "best bonus gears" for Mage/range/str; it would be much appreciated. Just wondering what I'll need to start saving up for when new cmb arrives!

I know the Dominion gloves are still the best. I can imagine Glacor boots are still the best, as well.

Also, at this point shields are extremely overpowered. So make sure you're using one.

I wouldn't buy anything expensive right now, if I was you. There's no way of knowing what Jagex might do to change things, making any purchase uncertain.

Don't buy a divine, that's like putting all your money on Red(Roulette)…. I know you have alot of cash but it's a gamble…

Yeah…. I think you guys are right. I think I'ma just keep saving and buy whatever I want later on.

Check out stuff on the beta wiki. I bet there's some item somewhere that if you buy now it will rocket after the beta… Just don't know what it is, maybe splitbark armour? <- that's coming out of my head.

you guys are getting off topic. This isn't about what to invest in or w/e,

I simply want to know what the new best gears are going to be so I know what to work for.

like I said, I just want to know if for example Virtus wand and arcane , or chaotic staff (will be 2 handed after EOC) will be better.

Thats because, or at least from what ive heard, its getting redone.

Arcane, divine and elys are going to have similar effects, arcane is going to be for mages, divine for melee and elys for rangers. Spectral is going to remain the same.
I believe arcane will definitely go up.
They are indeed very overpowered.

Damn, I thought that everything in beta was how it would be after the combat update. Oh well thanks for the tips though, I suppose I'll just keep training and keep saving
